We had a visit from the easter bunny here on Pacific today.

I don't have screenies unfortunately, but she was a blaze colored bunny. Really a female elf with blaze skin in bunny wabbit form.

Anytime someone would stand on her an insane chain of flames would pour up from the ground. Not causing damage to the person standing on her, yet amusing all the same.

The wabbit was here to let people know about the easter egg hunt that is planned for tomorrow. Giving away hints as to what kind of eggs would be included in the hunt.

I still have purple bunnies I have no idea what to do with them lol...I heard white bunnies ... they would be cooler but I am guessing these won't be tameable. I wouldn't mind a fire rabbit either, if they got rid of that skiddish AI .

Ok Copy and pasted a draft of my comic strip, we had the Easter Bunny visit pacific on monday this week letting us know of more visits to come in the near future. This isn't proofed so it might sound silly and have a lot of spelling errors and sound like some drunkard wrote it.

The Easter Bunny
Making an early appearance on pacific this monday hopped around Luna and Britain Banks!

Much chatter about the sighting of this pink bunny near the upcomming holiday. The bunny stated firmly the he was infact the Easter Bunny!

The bunny hopped around dropping a few easter eggs on the ground! And then led us to the Counselor's Hall.

While the bunny tested his magical Easter power we were shipped off into the middle of no where. The Easter Bunny tried to humor us so we would not be fightened being STUCK in the middle of nowhere!

The bunny asked us to meet at luna gate so we hurridly rushed there. I became agitated and started touching everything. These Easter Powers began playing tricks on me, either that or being stuck in the woods for so long did something to the wet noodle between my ears. The easter bunny for a split second appeared as a purple lady only wearing a bra and undies!

After some work the Easter Bunny was able to muster enough magical powers and gated us to the Brand New Event Reward Hall on Pacific!

After a viewing all the wonderful decorations inside. Everyond felt it would be good to convince the Easter Bunny to hide a few more eggs. We figured Ale would be a wonderful coaxing method.

Minutes later the bunny asked us to stay inside the new Event Item house while he hid eggs around the neighborhood.

Everyone dashed out of the house when the bunny told us to go. May I add the folks that were there were very polite and listened to the easter bunny and did not rush off for a head start!. Afterwards the Easter Bunny sat in the middle of his pond to get some rest.

The Real Easter Egg Hunt will occur Easter Sunday 4/12/2009 at 7pm Pacific Standard Time (on the pacific shard). The meeting location will be the Counselor's Hall in the city of Britannia (just north east of castle british)

The selection of eggs that will be hidden are different colors than we have seen before. Be sure to notice that these are not the "Brightly Colored Eggs" you can find on vorpal bunnies and are just called Eggs. Also take note that if you stack these eggs with the brightly colored eggs they will be turned into "Brightly Colored Eggs".

Does your shard have an event meeting hall? On pacific he was just doing early sightings I believe to make sure everyone had a chance incase they were out for the "real" event. For Pacific its 7pm on Easter Sunday. We go to the "event herald" and say the word "event" to get the news like one does at a town crier.

wow this event is horrible... u have to waste your whole day searching every inch of uo in hopes of finding 1 of the 2 bunnies that the EM said were on the shard... it should have been like 10 bunnies per facet, not 2 per shard

Also, the eggs on Napa look different than those shown in this thread. They are re-hued lemons that say "Happy Easter 2009 [Napa Valley]"

On Pacific, I found two eggs lying around. The first was a freshly painted egg by Brit Moongate Tram. The second was an Elegantly Painted Egg by Amelia Varaeni'l. I popped her name into MyUO and a character comes up, so that leaves me wondering if this is a character of the EM or can these eggs spawn with random player names associated with them? I then thought perhaps you had to use the egg to paint it with your name, so I double clicked mine.... and ate it. :loser:

Far as I know its for all shards Crysta. Not sure about the European shards tho. When our started on napa blue Easter poem books popped up around the moongates in Tram.

Nothing on Siege. We share the EM (Quantum) with LS which may explain why both haven't seen anything

Some shards had eggs hidden in town shops. Ls had players chase a gold rabbit who dropped a few eggs? No eggs to find NOT in a pack of 50 faster players?

I so believed Sirs, I am not so much now. Was told eggs were all over Sonoma. Now that is neat.

I'm pretty dissapointed with this Easter Event.. if it can be called that .
I have no idea what time the bunny came around on Atlantic or where the eggs were hidden but i saw none. I just know that the event herald guy in the council hall said the easter bunny will be around on Easter Sunday.
Worst event ever.Or maybe i'm just bitter because i was completly confused about this , and i'm a bit jealous that for the 3rd tiem in a row i've missed a thing. ( didn't join faction for cloaks and daggers And clainin's funeral was earlier than most events are .. i totally thought it'd be at 6ish)

Did the Ems have to hide every egg themselves?

My shard EM chose to run as fast as possible, drop an egg and keep going. A few were hid at healer shops prior to his grand Brit bank appearance. Lol!

Then a few get bank dropped and rabbit splits. Silly me thinks he is off hiding eggs in various towns. Nada. He returns after dinner and drinks I guess and runs more, drops eggs, runs drops, then it is over.

So whomever your EMs are they KNOW how to put on a hunt. I am happy for you!
