Agreed, although I would be more optimistic if the reply was "it will be in the next publish" because we all know how "The donation system for community collections needs an overhaul......This is a great idea" can turn into "never".I liked the suggestion someone made about being able to donate things to the Community Collections via commodity deeds and the answer gives us hope that they might, at some point in the future, do that.
That's true, but I will try to be positive about it, at least until about the 4 month mark.Agreed, although I would be more optimistic if the reply was "it will be in the next publish" because we all know how "The donation system for community collections needs an overhaul......This is a great idea" can turn into "never".
WOOHOO!!! it would take over 25,000 hours (just about 3 years) to burn off the long term murder counts on one of the chars on an account i bought last year - i would love a one time reprieve!!!Will there ever be an easier way to turn a character from red to blue? The current time to turn my character from red to blue is over 800 hours...
We’re considering a one-time reprieve at some point in the future.

Why do reds express their hatred of Trammel and pride in their number of murder counts, to the point where 2 shards free of Trammel aren't enough they want a third, and then also want a murder count reprieve? Going red isn't really all that easy to do by accident.WOOHOO!!! it would take over 25,000 hours (just about 3 years) to burn off the long term murder counts on one of the chars on an account i bought last year - i would love a one time reprieve!!!
I agree, but we have a fella on LA who apparently has an agenda to turn every blue he finds into a red. If you have an EV out or are casting wither, he will intentionally take a hit so that you are the aggressor and then go kill himself. I'm new to the fel world, but that does not seem to be the spirit of going red. Of course, my chars are still blue.Going red isn't really all that easy to do by accident.
So you've supposedly got more chance of getting an arti while soloing, because you're always the "top attacker" and hence always get the highest amount of points you possibly can. Please explain the point system in more detail for doom. I can spend hours in doom soloing and get nothing. Seems to me that if drops are based on a point system that if someone solos something that person should receive all the points that it offers.
Instead of looking at is as the "total points available" on the doom boss, think of it as a value that determines how many points each person attacking the boss gets in the end. That means that the person who did the most damage gets the maximum available points from the encounter for a given player. If another person joins in, the amount of points available as a total is increased, however they'll get a bit less than the top attacker did.
So, the way to look at this system is that it increases the available points from a boss to accomodate adding more players to the boss fight without punishing those already there.

i am a very happy trammie - i bought an account with the one red char last year and i'd love for her to be blue!!!Why do reds express their hatred of Trammel and pride in their number of murder counts, to the point where 2 shards free of Trammel aren't enough they want a third, and then also want a murder count reprieve? Soul Stones and Soul Stone Fragments are pretty common.

This is of course not true. THe way it is set up right now it is essentially impossible to do it without automation, unless you have some role playing fantasies that it makes sense to deliver 90.000 battle axes or 260.000 boards to get 800.000 points for an item. I have not been able to persistently turn in anything because I do not have enough time in a year's worth of playing to just do this over and over again. To me this process is one that is begging to be scripted, and I know for a fact it is. If you can just dump a deed, the need to script would be diminished since it would be just as easy to do it by hand.No need for the deeds for turn in. If your collecting for turn in then just turn it in as it is gathered. Deeds will just support the scripters dumping at the bank.
Not all reds express pride in their number of murder counts. Some people loved being a murderer for a long time, but are now no longer enjoying it. Other people bought accounts that had a murderer on it, and keep them because of powerscrolls that have been applied to those characters and/or PBDs.Why do reds express their hatred of Trammel and pride in their number of murder counts, to the point where 2 shards free of Trammel aren't enough they want a third, and then also want a murder count reprieve? You wrong here, unless the caster of the EV/wither are grey or red it won't hit any blue and he can't turn them red that way. There may be other ways, but think they are fixed.I agree, but we have a fella on LA who apparently has an agenda to turn every blue he finds into a red. You need to make this a choice. Some people really do want to get rid of their murder counts, but many reds consider their numbers a matter of pride. When the dev team has done one-time reprieves in the past (which baffles as to why they can continue to call it a "one-time" reprieve when they've done it several times) they have not given anyone a choice about the matter. All the reds just log in one day to find the dev team basically saying to them "We've just erased years of your work, and didn't even ask you if you really wanted it. Surprise!"Will there ever be an easier way to turn a character from red to blue? The current time to turn my character from red to blue is over 800 hours...

^ This. I've submitted this question through the feedback form a few times now. I recognize that much like my last question about Luck, this one is probably also involves an odyssey through the code, but that last odyssey illuminated the problems with the loot tables, so it can't be all bad!All very interesting (even if this has been clear since the change to the tokuno style system), but how does luck factor into your chances?
Hmm, dunno about other devs in times past, but when I say one-time reprieve, I mean a choice that the murderer can make when and if they want. No one's going to force a wipe of murder counts. Two things.

It's not, actually. I'd expect it in another FoF.#2:^ This. I've submitted this question through the feedback form a few times now. Thanks. I must have misunderstood some comments in guild chat. I'm fairly new to fel so learning the ropes as I go. Thanks again for clarification. You wrong here, unless the caster of the EV/wither are grey or red it won't hit any blue and he can't turn them red that way. For people who enjoy being red ad now don't? I'm sure lots of people don't enjoy prison after a few years either. Not all reds express pride in their number of murder counts. No. Only skill points are stored in the soulstone, not the skill cap.Does being "scrolled up" not come with soul-stoning skills?
Heh.No. Only skill points are stored in the soulstone, not the skill cap.
