Moongate to the void will be fully active this thursday evening at 8pm uk time. It is located in the north eastern quarter of Magincia trammel. A warning is given for all to avoid this area.

notes are hand delivered to all loyal subjects of Britania.

Mericles the evil mage who has been in contact with an evil force in the Void needs to be captued for the safty of Sosaria. In order to entrap him a FALSE moongate to the void has been created in Magincia and we aim to trap Mericles if he tries to use it. So any able bodied persons please aid in this by being at the false moongate in the north eastern quarter of Magincia this Thusday evening to aid in the attemp. The plan is for those that cannot hide or sneek to dress in black to look like the corrupted that frequent the area and not alert Mericles to our presence. A mage will be positioned to the north, east, south and west areas around the moongate, with an already prepared person in the moongate ready to apprehend him. Once he reappears out of the moongate the 4 mages will cast energy field around him trapping him. The person within the moongate will apprehend him and everyone rushes to grab him once the energy field disapate. This will all be overseen by Nathan Hawke

We have still to work out where to keep Mericles if and when we capture him.
Only places I can think of is Yew prison, but that won't negate his unknown magical abilites or the small room in the Councellors Hall that does negate magic but is all too public.

Once we were back at the hall there were many suggestions.

Opening of the gate should not be attempted least we bring demon spawn upon us.

Kill Mericles to end his threat and thereby consigning Dorian to his fate (casualty of war)

Trade Mericles life for Dorians allowing Hannah and Dorian to ride off into the sunset living in secret isolation (Mericles would no doubt seek revenge tho)

Open a black gate and shove Hannah in it so that she could be reunited with Dorian (did'nt go down too well with Hannah I must say)

Stick to the original plan of somehow forcing Mericles to either open a gate for us or to give us knowledge to construct one our selves.

There was one other suggestion that I don't think many people heard and that was to mobilise every able bodied Sosarian along with the towns armies open a gate and march into the void slaying all before us and ending the threat once and for all. One of the EM's heard it and seemed to consider the idea...only time will tell.

That was suggested and dismissed when this was initially discussed, no need to bring it up again and again (I realise you probably didn´t know that).

And temporarily is part of the plan AFAIK.
But keeping Mericles (and others like him) from calling over some world devastating leviathan demon sure has it´s merits too?

Oh , I know that the portal is going to open, either temporarily or permanently and we are going to have to deal with what comes through it, or go there and deal with it. I think i'm going to have to polish up a demon slayer weapon or two. Next part is Tuesday night, right?
