Bank Deco Status?

I am wondering what the status of the bank deco's of the recent contests was?

I have seen a few posts in regards to some of them being done, Alas Sonoma's is not one of these...

Any news would be fun... i personaly would love to see these finished and a new contest started...

@ Others: Draconi's doing these personally, sure it'd be nice if they were done, but the fact that we're even getting these is rather amazing. I don't mean to offend anyone but i'm on Atlantic (i just started playing again after being gone for 4 or 5 years) and I think the bank looks ugly.

I liked the way the bank looked before...it's ugly now...why exactly is there a flowing river on top of Britian bank?

Well i also agree brit bank on atl is an eye sore! sorry to the winner its cool, but the whole look is just out of place in brit. Were it yew i would like it alot more, to much like a park that should be in the woods not in center of uo civilization oh wait that LUNA. One thing i wish would be that the winners had thought to include an arcane circle at the banks. Perhaps then there would be more draw to brit bank. Or perhaps if they stated a requirement of a circle.

This post, on the other hand, may be considered an example of a troll, if it riles the masses to the point where the mod/mods will deem it necessary to lock it or whatever it is that mods do, do.

I just ran over to Atlantic's bank, and... yikes.

I do find it a bit odd that a river flows out of nowhere off the top of the bank, but then I magically teleport myself halfway across the world to a cave full of dragons which I run into and attempt to befriend a giant fire breathing lizard by saying a few kind words to it and following it around, and realize that logic is somewhat ethereal in UO.

Well design is a form of art, and like any art you will have people who love it and will hate it.

Visually, I find the top of the bank distracting... which leads the bank as awhole looking quite ugly. Still,that's just my lone opinion.

It doesn't mean anything in the long run. It's there, that's the winning design. Someone not liking the final design shouldn't be a slight to the designer as a person.

I think what they're trying to say, Mir, is that unless you're willing to post a link to the site that stated this, or copy/paste an IM or PM, and name names of who said it, they don't think you should say anything. It could be considered gossip or a rumor even if you know the person or persons you heard it from was credible and simply wish to keep them out of it, since they didn't give you permission to bring them into a thread.

If I hear any 'rumor' from anyone that I think people may not believe, I just don't post it. I wait, and if it turns out to be true and someone tells me, I just get to say, "Oh yeah, I heard about that like a month ago!"
