I think the contest was a good idea with poor enforcement yet again. Yes a lot of the designs were nice, but the rules weren't strictly enforced to EAs rules (in some instances).

I would rather EA just give the contest winners a congratulatory sash or mage book or w/e they want and then implement a design of their own which is unique to each shard.

Err they are unique to each shard lol. You must be on a server with one you don't like? heh.

However long it takes im sure my Fair Grounds Contest winning design will be up before my West Brit Bank one.

Erm nay. I would rather have a developers original design over a design that was submited/accepted and won that was undeniably created outside of the developers set rules/regulations for the contest.

I can't say it on the forums otherwise it would be harrassment and violation of stratics ROC. But I can say I know who it is and they have admitted that they used an outside prog to design their contest winning design.
