Some spells suggestions.

(1)Chivalry
Ward: A ward is a beneficial spell cast on a party or raid member that will absorb a predetermined amount of damage within a certain time frame.

(2)Necromancy
Reactive Heal + Damage Shield = Lifetap Shield
Reactive Heal is healing effects that are triggered if the benefited target is hit.

(3)Bushido
Stoneskin: Allows the caster to absorb all damage they would have otherwise received.

Right evasion samurais definitely needs more survivability. (Temporary godmode eh).

And paladins in UO definitely needs bubbles like priests in WoW. 4/6 casting is no where near enough.

Oh and mages should be like mages. If you have more than 69.9 magery all your resists are capped at 20 because mages are also called clothies so its fine if they die in 1 hit. Makes perfect sense. Mage can instant nuke and kill people with two bolts of concussio I mean ebolts from a distance. Mages are the nuke so make them die quick.

You're not jealous of my Magery and Necromancy, are you? :stir: But those are some neat ideas for spells there. Diverse ideas like that are always good. Getting them into UO is another story.

I believe there are already enough "healing methods" in the game. I only see these spells making things more complicated or creating a new fad. New ideas are good though but I don't really see any reason for these considering most get along quite well with those skills.

I see that your Stratics description "slightly crazed" fits you well.

Evasion is far from godmode. You can still be hit by melee, ranged & spell damage, and it only lasts 6-8 seconds. Frankly, I feel that warriors need something that doesn't require multi million gold suits & weapons so they can tank like they should be able to. Tanking shouldn't be the sole job of Tamers with meat shields.

The godmode comment is directed toward op's suggestion. Evasion is of course not godmode. Its just half of it, my bad.

Even if all my suggestions come true, it won't be godmode. Not even overpowered.
I heard that raid will come with SA.
It isn't acceptable that only tamers can tank.
Fighters should be able to tank, too.

And I think that revamp of spell system is needed if raid come in UO.
For example, Magery would be separated into destruction spell line, heal spell line, buff spell line, debuff spell line, crowd control spell line, and so on.
This will need the increase of max skill points.
