Thanks to advice from the forum, I've been able to accomplish a lot more in the game, and got my Sampire fighting Miasma and Succubus decently (die every once in awhile).

What do people do when they fail an honor? MY solution is run usually if its either of the above, then its prepare for a tough fight. Is there a handy way to make a macro in KR to honor the nearest creature?

My suit stacks up like this:

Twinkling Scimitar with:

50 hsl
50 hld
42 hml

HP 119
STAM 132
MANA 23

HCI 40
SSI 0
DI 100

RPD 15
DCI 45

70
62
69
60
64

I could sacrifice 15 HCI for 65,69,70,70,70 resists, is that advisable? Does anyone use the Bracelet of the Elements?

Using spirit of the totem, Stormgrip, Conjurers trinket, and essence of battle.

Is this setup decent? I put my main focus on getting the resists up, I was wondering if I should substitute resists for some more HLD? Is HCI or HLD more powerful? I know DCI is vital.

Also, where can I go now that this temp is complete to adventure as far as dungeons go for some cool Arties or quests? Peerless bosses or dungeons would be cool.

Thanks in advance.

Your set up is decent.

HLD > HCI, but if you have 20% HLD, your enemy should always be under the effect (in PvM) Higher is, of course, better, but 20 should be considered the minimum.

HLD lasts 8 seconds, you swing 6 times in 8 seconds if things are going well. That means if your HLD percentage is 1/6 (17%), odds are decent of keeping HLD active. More HLD just increases the chance of keeping it always active.

As far as what you can do... you can do anything. Literally. Just think about a task and make a plan and do it.

If you fail in Honor what to do depends on what it is you're fighting. If it's Miasma or something similar, I'd say go ahead and kill it. It takes a little longer and you don't get the regen upon death, but it's certainly doable. If it's a para Balron then I'd say back off until it regens it's HP's so you can try again. For Peerless I always honor myself first before I get targeted, then go and honor the boss. That way you never have to worry about a failed Honor attempt. I don't use KR for fighting so I can't help you with the macro, but I'm sure there's a way to do it. You might try posting in the KR forum. One of the very knowledgeable guys there will be able to explain exactly how it's done.

For the rest I can't argue anything Farsight had to say.

Honestly a Sampire isn't really required for Succubi or Miasma. A regular Paladin can handle either quite easily. I've spent countless hours battling both and I can't remember the last time I died. A Succubus dies in about 4 or 5 swings from a Demon Slayer Radiant Scimitar when using Enemy of One and Consecrate Weapon.

Miasma does such little damage, it's pretty easy to go toe-to-toe with her if you have an Arachnid/Scorpion Slayer with EoO and CS. The only time I have to back off is if she mortals me.

You really don't need much HCI or HLD for PvM. With none of either and legendary melee skill, you consistently hit either a Succubus (80-90 wrestling; 63% hit chance) or Miasma (60-75 wrestling; 73% hit chance). If I had to choose between HCI 15 or HLD, I'd take HLD because it lowers your opponent's DCI by 25.

KR doesn't have a macro command to make this quite so easy. You would probably just end up honoring yourself or the wrong critter. What I do is move out of range before a critter aggros me, zoom out with KR, use the ctrl-shift keys to grab the health bar, hit my honor macro key to bring up the target cursor, run in close and target the health bar of the monster. I almost never fail to honor that way.

Having struggled with this exact problem, and I play mostly KR, the ony solution i have come up with is the following:

Have the honor icon on the spell bar.
Change the set up for your scroll wheel on your mouse from zoom to target enemy.
Use the scroll wheel to quickly scroll throug the enemies, to get to the one you want to honor. (With miasma, it is usually only MIasma and an occasional bird or so)
Click the Honor icon and target not the monster directly, but hit the identifying bar on the top of your screen.

I do have the BB_Enhenced desktop installed.

It is easy as pie. I actually think it is a bug in KR that you can not set the honor key to target current. (In fact you can, it just doesn't do it)

Hope this was clear.
