I know LJ gives a damage bonus. I have always wanted to try something but always have been too skeptical ...
120 Swords
120 Tactics
120 Anatomy
100 LJ
60 Necro
40 Spirit Speak
60 Chiv
100 Heal
Between jewelry and armor you need to hit 4/6 casting, max HCI, and max DI. Shouldn't be a problem with faction arties.
Corpse skin someone, cast consecrate, evil omen, and crushing blow with an ornate axe (or whatever the highest dmg axe is with crushing). In my experience when people build suits poison resist (or cold) is the least important.
60 necro never fails to oath, corpse, evil omen, or pain spike, and 40 SS makes oath last like 3 seconds, corpse can last up to a minute, pain spike does 16ish damage. EO will last about 5 seconds.
I suppose it would also work with Archery without LJ and add med as well.
An ornate axe with 125 STR, 120 Anat, 120 Tact, 100 LJ, and 100 DI from items a normal hit does 75-83 Damage. Lets look at the high end, 83 plus 50% (crushing blow) puts you at 124 damage. 25% (Evil omen) of the 83 is another 20 damage. That puts the crushing blow at 144 damage assuming 0 poison resist.
Let's assume your target fully suited has 60 poison resist, corpse would bring them down to 45 poison resist. 144 * .55 = 79 damage, followed by a painspike of 16ish.
Even regular hits would do epic damage on someone that was knocked down to 45 poison. It would be 40-45 damage normal hits. At 180 stam with a 30 SSI Ornate Axe and a Divine Fury your swinging at 1.25.
Also - all damage is not including any Hit Spell.
So.. corpse skin, disarm (or even a reg hit, something to get them at around 95 HP), evil omen, crushing blow, pain spike.
Defense you'd have healing, 4/6 chiv healing (maybe 20-25 pts with low karma from corpse/eo/pains), and carry a 1 hander on equip last for chugging.
The more I think about it the more I want to try it.
Please reply and correct me if my calculations for damage are incorrect.
