Hi I have a template question.

I have an archor with...
Archor 120
anat 110
tact 110
heal 100
resist 85
chiv 80
bushido 100 [currently 70]

Recently I have fall in love with CS (sleepy, spirit)

I have hit monsters which were disco.. the damage is amazing.

I was wondering if it worth to stone my resist and bushido for music and disco.

I mainly only play pvm

Good Question...I myself have tried every type of archer temp except ninja...and by far the most power ful is ABC...u think the damage output of the temp u got now is amazing try upping bush to 120...my temp is:

Archery 120
Tactics 90
Anatomy 90
Healing 90
Bushido 120
Chivalry 75
and i rotate between:
resist 120 and(yes i know it seems retarted but)focus 120

My damage output is Amazing and goes far and beyond what i did with disco 120 and music 120...the only thing i would recomend picking up disco and music for would be if u go with groups to peerless, doom, or champ spawns.
with bush 120 u have highest chance for critical strike, can achieve perfection, and with a good mana leech bow u can lightning strike all day and night. althought disco is good for reducing pvm barding and skills of things it just doesnt match up to the dominate ABC PVM Archer.

By going with 120 Resist/Focus you're intentionally killing your damage output possibilities. 120 Resist isn't necessary for PvM, and Focus is a worthless skill, most especially for archery. I'm pretty sure this template is possibly one of the best overall damage output templates you can put together for an archer:

Archery 120
Bushido 120
Tactics 120
Anatomy 100
Healing 100
Resist 90
Chiv 70

sorry guess i didnt explain right....i go with resist but sometimes i swap resist for focus if i want the extra mana if im not gonna deal with heavy spells being dumped on me...believe it or not focus does make a little difference in stamina and mana regeneration...but resist is definately the better choice.

You'd be much better off going for the higher DI with increased Tactics and a lesser amount of Resist. 120 Resist is not necessary for PvM. Also, Focus isn'tenough of a benefit to justify 120 points going into it. The increase in damage from higher Tactics will more than make up what little mana Focus restores with nothing more than the mana leech from your bow. Stamina regen isn't that much of an issue with archers as Divine Fury can easily be used with no consequences since archers are ranged and not worried abou DCI. You can also use the Ring of the Vile which has as much stamina regen as your Focus gives you. Not to mention just having Stamina Leech on your bow takes care of it completely. I just think you could get a lot more out of your template if you'd move points from skills they aren't necessary for into ones that increase the damage output.

You are most certainly right but it's hard to get the mods i want on a bow, and not to mention the fact that ssi in my opinion i think should be 30 or higher on a heavy hitter...
Rigth now im bored with pvm and wanted to switch over to pvp. My buddy doesnt use resist at all..and i dunno what to do being as tho im only familair with using a pvp melee dexer and mage templates. is it worth trying to keep skills where they are...or to drop resist all together and 120 anatomy and tactics and up my healing?

The problem with Bushido is you need to honor the unharmed monster for perfection.
and the effect of Bushido is based on your Honor level. (similar to Kama to Chiv).

issue I see with my practice Bushido for 1 month
1. Virtual system fade with time, need to continues Honor monster to keep the level up.
2. At any spawn (doom, champ, peerless), too many monsters to do Honoring and most of the time, the monster is already too damage to be honored. and for champ boss, it is always too late to honor.

... or is it just me not doing it right.

This is very easy to do by using the UO macro Invoke Virtue.

This is incorrect. You can have 0 Honor built up on your character and you'll be doing exactly the same as if you were Knight. You're confusing Perfection with the Honor Virtue.

I already addressed this. You're confusing 2 completely different things.

2. At any spawn (doom, champ, peerless), too many monsters to do Honoring and most of the time, the monster is already too damage to be honored. and for champ boss, it is always too late to honor.
If you use the macro I mentioned above, you can Honor one creature right after the other. It's a very simple process.

I think this is more true than not.

Thanks for clearing up the confusion about Honor and Bushido.
I do have the UO macro setup, maybe I am just not use to keep honoring every monster.

It takes practice, but you should be able to honor every single creature you attack prior to making the first hit. It's a little harder with an archer because of auto target and auto fire, but it's still very much doable. I can take my dexxer into the middle of a champ spawn and target everything I kill before killing it. You might try bringing up your next targets' health bar before your current one is dead, and having the honor virtue ready to target it as soon as you make your kill.

and about my pvp question anybody have any insight? drop resist to up anat, tactics, and healing? apples and trap boxes are not a problem. i just hate having to keep healing, anatomy, and tactics at 90 to 120 resist for pvp amnd im not dropping bush(120)chiv(75)or archery(120).and if im not gonna have 120 resist i dont want it at all. no point in having it at gm or 110 for pvp
