The event which brought the jukas to camp out in front of Wrong was the first event I participated in. At the time I was still testing out UO, seeing if it would be interesting for me. Like many I was always a day late for most events and then the EM finally came up with a signal...forgot now, either a shield or lantern.
We were told to form in front of Wrong for a juka invasion. Most of us were sitting in that little pass so we could control it regardless of where the jukas showed up. A couple of us moved closer to the Wrong entrance. As a newbie I sat there talking with my partner wondering if anything was really going to happen. Then suddenly the screen filled with dozens of red names, then even more as they started popping out all around us. Can't quite explain exactly how I felt but that flood of names/enemy was new to me. Exciting and the adrenelin started pumping. Up until then I didn't know if I wanted to stay in UO but that battle really got me into the game. This is what a successful EM program can achieve.
I hope the current EMs will bring us that same kind of excitement. Love it when the community joins together to rid our lands of some common enemy.
