New official unofficial Personal Attendent Thread

This is my little thread for the topic of personal attendants.

Please post you're ideas here.

Here is a few of mine.

1. We could customize our heralds text to respond to a key word so we could use them for player run events and such.
2. We could get some more types like a banker and a stable master with maby like a 10 minute use per day timer.
3. We could customize the armor/weapons they wear if they are told to stay in our house and greet. Maby make it so they cant be deeded till you remove the special weapons/armor
4. And this is off the subject but Draconi if you ever read this can you please create a way we can display armor and weapons like suits and such in our house without having to put them on tables/or spend money for vendors. Maby make it kinda like the character statue but you can dress it . If you redeed with armor on it the deed and armor goes into a pack that pops in your pack or locks it'self on the gound of you're house-might make those dressing model thingys useful.

Great idea for a single thread. A lot of ideas were already posted here: http://vboards.stratics.com/showthread.php?t=132613.

Perhaps a MOD could copy over those ideas or combine the threads to save people from reposting?

It would be fantastic if the personal attendants were a bit more customisable and or we could do a bit more WITH them controlled ...oh to run a shard casino with the personal attend. gambler/lucky dealer and really have it work to some degree to run a shard wide *casino nite* event.

I would also like them to update..barkeeps...we can customise the outfits on our player run vendors but we can not do much with the NPC no real customisation on our barkeeps per say...why did they not code in that we could outfit them too, like our vendors ?? * ditto for the personal attendents* be so nice to put them in an outfit we made for them, etc. and have a bit more control over what they actually can DO if programmed. Cuz I would love to host a casino night with them so that other players can *use them* to place bets and have the lucky dealer..DEAL for everyone in the house at an event.

I'd still love to see more rp or deco crafting...

... wax crafting to make different colored candles and such.. can harvest beeswax from hives... use the skill to make "a wax dummy" that looks like a human model that doesn't move and that can be dressed to display items. UO could have a wax museum.

Personal Attendants should be able to speak custom messages, not just predefined ones.

It should be possible to select between different messages that are spoken, depending on whether a guild member or a non-guild member enters the house.

It would be cool if Attendants could be linked so players can create their own town-crier system.

I think the most significant addition would be to allow custom phrases to be said, and to make the lucky dealer/fortune teller able to be permanently placed like the herald even when the owner logs out.
