That was an explanation of sorts, and personal attacks are a shame on your reputation.
I am not too keen on reputation, others usually take offense to telling it like it is. Would rather be a straight shooter and be upfront.

I'm not a mind reader, but I'd guess the threads were locked because of multiple threads on the same subject, wouldn't you? Now since it's against RoC to publicly discuss moderators actions if you have any further query please pm the mod in question or an admin.
EA didn't give an explanation for the downtime, but then they never do so I'm not sure why you expected one. Having given you as much explanation as a volunteer on Stratics is capable of I think this thread is done too.
