NEW EVENT! (Stolen shamelessly from a uhall thread)

Ok, so i was reading in uhall and a guy posted about a good group event that would be a ton of fun.

Basically, people from shards all over converge on one shard. They create a character with just enough taming points (with skills jewelry, too) to tame a pack of wolves (or animal of your choice).

With ~50+ people in on the game and 5 wolves per character, you've got 250 wolves (chickens, panthers...whatever) in play.

Using this insane amount of teeth, the group meets and destroys the target that they wish.

I propose that we do this here. We can meet April 19th @ 7pm central at the new haven moongate to go and slay the vermin horde in despise. It would probably do well to have a handful of established players from here on Catskills to serve as healers.

People should come and tame at Catskills a couple weeks early to be sure to get their pack bonded and to find the animals that they desire for their pack.

Probably should tame in advance and bond the wolves. Hehe

yeah, that's a good point. There could be resident tamers on hand to rez to wolves which are sure to die.

The problem there is that a couple of earthquakes or withers will annihilate any given pack unless it's fully trained.

With that in mind, I think I'll go make a couple of packs of easy to tame animals and train them up. Wolves or Bears are good for that kind of thing.

Yay! April 19 is a Sunday which means I should be able to participate. Already started training my bears and one bonded this week. Keep us posted if this is really gonna happen.

I'll copy this onto other shard boards and maybe drop some books in new haven and luna on other shards. It doesn't require much skill and should be fun!

suggest gathering up wolves early, because if 50 people are looking that day, they'll be hard to find.
