Seeing as how these creatures are from turtle type spawn should they not be reptiles and take damage from reptile slayers? They come in force as spawn for the "Serado the Awakened" which are mainly reptiles.

Kappa wouldn't be a reptile if it had a slayer.. the Kappa is a Japanese water imp.. a kind of demon.. so it would be Demon slayer if it had one.

How are we supposed to guess that - the things look like damn turtles!

Actually, that's a defining feature of the Kappa. :p

Also, could have looked up Kappa on Wikipedia.

Bingo. A Kappa is a Japanese demon, so it should be a Demon Slayer.

While we're at it: Why aren't solens Arachnid Slayer? They have 8 legs! I can understand them not being Spider Slayer, because they're not Spiders. But they fit under Arachnid Slayer.

Of course, I'm of the opinion that every single creature in the game should have a slayer type.

Eh, it could go either way. It's obviously shaped like a turtle hence it's a reptile. But in mythology it's a demon (though it's still a turtle).

Serpentine dragons are associated with Fey, but they're still dragons, and hence they're still under the dragon slayer category.

Shadow Wyrms are also very demon-esque.

While we're at it: Why aren't solens Arachnid Slayer?
And why weren't Crimson dragons dragons?

Solens are giant ants... ants aren't arachnids. Therefore, arachnid slayers don't work on Solen.

You could make a case for Beetle slayer working on them, though... ants are certainly closer to beetles than arachnids... or to change Beetle slayer to Insect slayer.

BTW, our crocodilians in the game (alligators, Thrasher) aren't Reptile, either.

And are Ostards supposed to be reptiles or featherless birds? You'd think they'd fall in one slayer type or the other...

And why don't Repond slayers work on city invasion humans like the generals and what not (at least I'm pretty sure they don't)? You don't get much more "humanoid" than a human.

Probably something to do with keeping it from doing extra damage to other players or something.

And why does neither a fire slayer talisman nor a gargoyle slayer weapon work on the fire gargoyles at abyss spawn?
