CCC WEDDING CHAPEL (Origin)

Just finished a quick Chapel for a friends wedding and thought I would post it. Our shard reporter, Sara, will be posting better pics on Origin News in the near future.

This is the bottom floor which is mainly an information center for the books to different Wedding locations on Origin and also to the Wedding Planning House of our new EMs, Laurana and Faine Morgan.

The second floor contains the bar, the Musicians and a dance floor for the newly weds first dance.

When you step up onto the dance floor, you are then in the starry void. Guests on the third floor can watch the dance from the bridge up above.

The third floor is the reception area for cake and good wine.

Im soon going to replace the steps on the forth floor with a bridge I think. Safer that way.

Once up the stairs, the ceremony takes place on top of a large fishtank.​

Wow! That's just beautiful! What a wonderful place to get married! I love the starry void to dance in - so romantic! And all those great little touches, the trav shells on the steeds...you did a lovely job, hon.

Attended the wedding held there last night and I must say it is absolutely beautiful. The detailing is exquisit. Super job, Crystal.

Thank you all so much for the compliments. I was just so happy when I learned that our new EMs were going to do weddings! It reminds of the good old days when there were weddings about every weekend and wedding announcements were always in the news. I got so excited, it inspired me to build another chapel.

I have alot of ideas to make it better, but not sure if all of them will work. If anyone has any good ideas, please let me know. Im always open to suggestions.

A tower with a bell! That's more for a wedding chapel design though. But maybe white bells locked down in some fashion so people can ring them...maybe with little bows on them (colored eggs?)...

Sarsmi, this is why I love coming to this forum! Great idea with the bells and bows. I have a ton of bells and had forgotten that they actually ring. Now I really cant wait to get started doing some more designing there. lol

It was pretty quick actually, lol, only had a little over a week to get it redesigned from a water park to a Chapel. I did leave part of the falls and the Mill downstairs so it didnt take quit as long to do.

But, I did forget all about having a registry book or a guest book. That would have been great for the bride and groom to have had. Thanks for the idea, I will be sure to have that done by the next wedding!

Love it! It's really unique and the starry void dance floor is so gorgeous I also loved your use of the white snake plants in the flower arches - I never would've thought of doing that!

My fiance and I should have an in-game wedding, I think... I'm gonna start collecting ideas for it!

LOL...the pixies aren't dead, they will surely scream at you if you touch them. They are just hanging around the void. In fact, I tried several wooden walls to maybe blend the wooded plaques they are on, so they couldnt be seen, but none of them worked with the rest of the decor.

I took these pics after the wedding that night and Im sure that is why the box and champagne are in need of raising. We had our good EMs there and they partook of a bit too much bubbly and was dancing on the tables and the bar. Go figure! (You should see some of the pics of this!!!) LOL...it was a blast with those two.
