Too Many Runic's

I have a question I would like answered by anyone at EA.

I am on Great Lake's and would like to know if all the runic tools available for sale are real?

I have a character that I do quest in heartwood and have only got 1 heartwood kit off 500k + boards worth of quests.

I have also tryed to turn in bods and collect then have never got better then Agapite Hammer and that I had to buy some of the bod's to even do that.And never have gotten 1 single Lbod for a Barbed kit even .

So in short I doubt that all these vendors that have for instance the new vend with 2 heartwood kits,2 heartwood saws,2 val hammers,2 Verite hammers can possibly be real so why is nothing being done about this .

Can anyone at least acknowledge this problem from EA and let us know as responsible UO player's what we should do and what vendors to avoid ?

I have a very simple solution ,for all the crafters that have 120-100 skill get at least 1 of the high end runics per week per account by doing their own bods.

If I was able to at least once a week obtain a nice runic I would never need to buy any and add to this duping problem without even stopping the dupers at all.

There may be dupes, but I think the larger problem with that is scripting. The changes to test accounts should really limit this.

Yes but regardless of whether they are dupes or caused by scripting would it not be solved by my suggestion.

The problem with your suggestion as far as i read it, it would hurt the legitimate players who work hard for there bods.

I know there are now 2or3 "teams" of smiths in DC* who work to gether gathering bods/recources and filling them/turning them in to get the good stuff...although with that said i think out of those teams there has only been 1val hammer in months.

I could see a guild of "BODers" gettin a fair few high end runics fairly quickly, plus you get idoc bods (where my only aggy came from) im not saying duping doest exist, its obvious it does. Im just saying that not every hammer you see is a dupe.

The ones who can re-stock 10val hammers a week are ones that make me suspicious and ill avoid those vendors once its been noted.

Lynk I would not call it blatent. It was pretty subtle.

Yea 10 a week is outrageous but someone stocking 1 or 2 a week is not if they work hard at it.

Jees, what kind of a person would send a condescending message to a moderator.

What an idiot, that person should know that you have to kiss the mods ***, and say nothing but nice things.

No flashy for me so just keep on hopeing and dreaming. I forgot to check the "A" list before I started talking about people so I guess, my bad.

WTF r u talking about subtle accusation of cheating in my sig, looks like I am simply ASKING a question. Are u saying that the way Lynk does that trick is by cheating? WOW who woulda known. It amazes me Maladork, Just HOW do u know its cheating? IF IT IS? Only way I can guess is you know how its done because u do it to. OPEN MOUTH INSERT FEET !!!
