Can't Get into own house with a character

The same character I had a resist problem with earlier cannot get into my house now.

The sequence of events was:

1. Logged in and received a UO patch.
2. Got on my character and went out and escorted and bought regs.
3. Went back to my house and GOT IN where I put my regs away.
4. Went out and tamed two polar bears and had them fight to get vet
gains. Not guilded so nothing happened.
5. Released the polar bears and tried to get into my house. I couldn't
even get on the porch. It acted as if it was a private house.
6. Freaked out and logged this character out in an inn.
7. Logged onto another character and was inside my house which I
am still the owner of.

Anybody have any idea what's going on?

GM? They're extinct aren't they? I haven't seen one in 8 years. I got a boat stuck and the GM was walking on the water actually pushing the boat to try to find a tile it wouldn't stick on. He should have gotten on the boat...he may have been the last of his kind.

is it just ONE particular character, and the others work just fine? when did u notice it in relation to the patch?

This happens to me all the time, for years. When I train pets by having them fight each other, I need to wait 10-15 minutes before I can enter my house.

Ack hope you sent in a bug report or attempted to page a gm even though the latter is pretty much pointless nowadays

My guess is you live in felucca, and then this is how fighting/warrior timer works. 2 mins after attacking you cant enter a house nothing new in that. Even if you only fought your own pets.

nothing to worry about. It's just that when you are training with blue pets you can get the aggressor flag even in Tram. It won't make you attackable but it'll prevent you from entering your house. Just wait a few minutes and everything will be back to normal. Happens rather often.

It takes about two minutes after you are no longer flagged to your pet. I noticed this the other day. You can't even access your own containers if they are close enough for you to try to open.

this has happen to my wife and I and our homes are in trammel. its a combat timer that is rather annoying, first time it happen to my wife she freaked on me.

This isn't caused by the current patch actually. It's the combat timer and has been happening to me in Tram for some time now.

However, from what I experienced, the timer seems to affect you only when you fight with pets and are not in a guild.
