No offence but you want to bless something that is worth less then 100 gp, Personally I also don't like blessing maybe if they went back on your body I would use bless deed things more often myself but insurance works better. But I don't insure these things cause they cheap and easy to get.
I personally think they are fine with only being able to insure them.
They were, after all, introduced to replace all those dupes shroud and in turn added to monks to sell them so they would flood the market and make those dupes utterly worthless. So in a way, they shouldn't be able to be blessed.

Umm....I have a major case of ocd..i constantly think about my virtual items and well i love blessed items i absolutly love my virtue armor suit my paladin can die a trillion times and it won't cost me a cent. I am cheap irl and i am cheap in game instead of going out and buying the suit i grinded in despise for over a month to get each precious piece cept for the cloak had to do that quest. Any way I have a hooded robe of umbra and shrowd of shadows i try to wear as much blessed gear as i can and as such i wish i could bless my monk's robe i mean we can bless the [replica] robes which sadly will not last forever so why cant i bless a robe that will. Just curious. Don't flamestrike me bro.
I have a crafter who has a floppy hat, fancy shirt, half apron and long pants all with a CBD used on them. There comes a point in this game where gold doesnt really matter ... most people just have too much so CBD's were a way to spend some of the gold. Its not about the gold .. I like having them blessed.

And to the poster who said there comes a point where having so much gold that CBD's don't matter, please pass some of it my way. I don't think I have a million between all 6 characters right now. There is lots of stuff I would like to equip my characters with but can't afford. Heck, that's half the reason I haven't played in about 5 weeks.

Im not sure about the CBD being used on them but I tried to insure one and it wouldnt work.

I wish we could dye the monk robes. Even if the only options are the Special and Black tubs. No ToT, not even a normal tub. I'd take anything over that bland brown.
