Does it include Kingdom Reborn?
Kingdom Reborn is a client that is free to download and use, no matter what level your UO Account is at. I just activated an account of mine that only had access to Fel and Trammel, but I could play it on KR.
The Mondain's Legacy upgrade code will get you access to the latest expansion. The only content you'll be missing are two housing tile sets (Crystal and Shadow) that were part of 9th Anniversary Edition.

Heck, take that $10 and visit one of the sites that sells gold, and get yourself 10mil to go with it! At least you would get something for the extra cost.

After shipping and tax and possible duty (I'm in Canada) it comes out to be the same, if not more.
I can't find any Canadian stores still stocked atm. I'll keep looking, but the online store at least lets me avoid tax and shipping

canadian company i got my copies for samurai empire from there few years back and it was cheap too
If you want to take the time to look, it is so worth it to find the anniversary box. Look around a little, you might find a dusty copy on the shelf of one of those stores.

I had a bad experience with them once when buying a preorder. Got charged for it but they didnt have it in stock and wouldn't refund me

Just noticed that link at the bottom.
If you can find a 9th Anniverary box you will get a 6th char slot as well as the 2 new housing tiles. The ML upgrade will not give you the extra 6th char. Save the $10 bucks or look around and you might find a box in the discount bin (I saw one a couple months ago that was marked down to $3.00, but I didn't buy it, D'oh). Sometime this year (maybe), they will release the next expansion and they mentioned that it will be on store shelves.

According to the website the ML upgrade code DOES give you access to all expansions.
The only thing you get extra with the 9th anniversary edition are 2 tile sets for housing, and a few tokens.
You can download it for free (http://www.uoherald.com/kingdomreborn/trial/) but you still have to pay the monthly fee for your account.

Plus a 6th char slot[mondains doesn't] and all current expansions and.. is only 19.99 vs. your mondains with no extra slot on uostore is 29.99.
So,he can save 10 bucks..get a slight more upgrade and be up to date with 9th anni.
the uo store is outdated and ml has been out for some years now.

Extra's aside, if he were to purchase the ML upgrade code from the the game code store, he would get access to all expansions. Which is what WarUltima was getting at when he offered the link.
