Alchemy question

Does it simply increase your EP cap, or actually EP? IE

If I am GM alchy do I auto matically have 30% EP, or just the ability to get to 80?

Unless I'm mistaken it only raises your cap.

GM alchemy gives you 30 EP, you can raise it to 80 with jewls.
Ive played an alchemist for 9 years. if im wrong i'll give you my account.
It was a pretty good attempt at making one skill not Majoritively item based

yeah, it GIVES you 30 ep, hence why they lowered ep rings

Not sure who right here when your last tests on this?
though i do wonder why my lesser explosions are doing the same dmg as the greater ones i use. 100 alcamy 50 ep ring and they do same dmg to me and monsters i just stoped makeing potions and buy my granades off npc's now they doing same dmg for me.

this is ez yes alchamy gives you ep ever notice humans get 21 stats from gstat pots and elves only get 20 thats becouse the human 20 skill equates to 5 ep another reason to play human more hps and stats from pots

The human 20 skill doesn't equate to anything, every 33 gives you 10%.

0 alchemy, 0 e.p, g str/dex = 20
0 alchemy, 50 e.p, g str/dex = 30
100 alchemy, 0 e.p, g str/dex = 26
100 alchemy, 50 e.p, g str/dex = 36
100 alchemy, 80 e.p, g str/dex = 36

Cear Dallben Dragon is right. I didn't know it was giving 30, I played a character with 80 on items for a long time and thought it was from that.

I'm building a mining/alchemy/tinkering/mage on a fire beetle character in hopes that there will be a mountainous desert somewhere close to a source of reagents which he can call home.

(of course, this would make a lot more sense if there was a more self-contained minigame within such a region and recall wasn't so easy)

Easy. Take any char with 100 in magic resist and swap it out with 100 alchemy. Im thinking you will be better off.

Alchemy will be a nice add on for my faction thief.

Please note: I feel neked without stealing in my template at the moment, it's been at least 6 years since I played a character without it, rofl...la

All my characters are human, with 0 E.P equipped g str/dex are doing 20.

5 E.P is needed for 21.
