So here some statistics of mine (this is about arty drop rate)

Since the spawn replica patch has come in, these are my stats.

All these spawns have been soloed or two maned (I'm not counting group spawns in this)

123 Rat Skulls
47 Dragon Skulls
34 Daemon Skulls
27 Oaks Skulls
22 Undead Skulls
7 Spider Skulls

All of these spawns I received the skull on, have been there without leaving since level one.

I typically use Bushido perfection (if it's not at perfection level by killing blow i switch to luck suit)

You might be wondering what I'm trying to get at with all this.

Well, lets see what loot I have received from this.

120 Swords x 2
120 Bushido
120 Meditation
120 Stealing
120 Provocation.

Replica Arties = 0, ZERO! NOT ONE!

I feel a tiny bit ripped off




Now lets check out Dark Father

I have used a max luck Dexxer/tamer hybrid in doom since it first came out.



Before the new drop system came out (excluding when arties were looted):

3-4 Hours every night 6 days a week for 3 months.

0 Arties ZERO, NOT ONE OMG!



Since the new drop system has come out:

4-5 hours each night for the first 4 weeks of that patch.

About 70 hours in total SINCE the end of that month.

Arties = 0



DF Arties ever received = 0

Replicas ever received = 0


My question is WHY?!!?


WHY FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO YOU HATE ME UO!?


I have played UO since the BETA of the very first UO and this is how you repay me!?!?


I Once went to Doom with my best friend, he got 9 DF Arties in ONE HOUR.

9 more then I have gotten over my entire existence!

If you reply saying you get Arties every 4-5 spawns or atleast once a night at DF; I will come find you ingame and make sure your house is surrounded by bagballs for the rest of your UO life.

I have a theory, I cant Prove it but I think It has to do with old toons.

My Post AOS created chars do not have your problem.

My mage and my dexxer pre AOS (two oldest toons) rarely receive any drop, ilsh/doom/champ/peerless.

Oh I do get drops but the effort is 3 or four times that of my newer chars or switched chars(human to elf).

With my switched over toons and my year old toon they all have received drops in a accordance to the drop rates if not more so.
It Also seems like my vet reward age works better with my newer chars as well(progress as intended) where my old toons lag for months at a time.*old account vs my newer account*

This is a very interesting line of thought. Has the OP tried engaging in these activities with zero fame? IE after sacrificing. It makes a big difference in ToT drop model. might also make a diff in other drop systems as well?

The theory previously posted is interesting, considering I haven't deleted a character on my accounts for year 8 years.

And I do have GREAT difficulty with account age lag (one of my accounts says it's 106 months, it's actually about 120).

My two main chars, my Samurai and Tamer, were both created in September 1997.

My 9yr+ and 10yr old tamer(s), bard(s) and sammy-archer all regularly score Doom arties with little trouble. All are factioned chars and champers so their fame/karma/virtues levels are all wildly variable.

The arty gods and the BOD gods also seem to be different entities altogether. I do ok for arites, but lousy at BODs...

Also, regarding the old char theory, there may be a bit of truth in it. They do somehow seem different...First time I realized this was when DP was introduced. My old char was very very difficult to poison (0 magic resist). He only ever got DP'd once. *shrugs*

i wonder if your onto something with this.
all this time i just figured my accounts where bugged.

to bad there is no real way for me to test this as we can not soulstone stats and i don't have a extra slot at the moment.
after 11 years i'm feeling kinda cheated

I'll bet you are afraid of Friday the 13th also. This is PURE nonsense. I've got one character that is 123 months old that I use mostly for Champ spawns... in the first ten runs I got two replicas and 4 or 5 SOT's. It slowed down since then, but still getting drops.

heh... not really. But some time ago it was looked into and stated, by a Developer, that deaths in no way had this effect or was tied into skills. Just be sure to go nekked to save on your insurance... and may as well sacrifice first, too.

sounds like the oui flag to me - i remember reading a story a long time ago about a gamer in a different game having a very similar problem to yours and for years he didn't get any drops even though all the people around him did

finally it got to be such a big deal that the developers took a look at his character specifically to see what was going on and they actually found that there was a mistake in the server code that made it impossible for him to get anything

I've always wondered if the devs stuck in something intentionally to screw over people that pissed them off - maybe something like a luck penalty or something

I run 2 fishermen - 1 is mine and 1 is my friend's account - his fisherman seems to get almost twice as many MIBs per hour as mine - it gets pretty obvious after a while when they're next to each other for days and you can just look at their packs - 1 is almost full and the other is kinda empty and it's that way day after day (no difference in template or luck between them and same age accounts so something "fishy's" going on - sorry, couldn't resist - hehe)
