PvP Tournament 1st. of march. EM_Sarakan check it out :)

Heya,

There's this book at Fel Yew gate telling about the PvP tournament Sarakan was thinking about creating. I havent paid any attention to this before, but now I noticed it.

Is there a thread about it here?, cause I can't find it atleast.

IceCast arranged PvP tournament last sunday, and there will new one next sunday (1st of March 09) :

I heard Sarakan has said that he might come and spectate/join somehow in the tournament. I think it would be great to see you there.

Dear Europa

Due to great succes of the last tournament im making this a weekly event Smile

However the rules turned out to be rather stupid Sad i lost to a necro couse his trangle interupted my heals 3x Sad
(30 dmg poison strikes didnt help much either)

Okay so the next set of rules will be:

Mage vs Mage:
*No poisoning skill
*No spellweaving skill
*No bushido skill
*No ninjitsu skill
*No chivalry (with the exception while fighting a necromancer)
*No potions
*No petals
*No faction aids (with the exception while fighting a necromancer)
*No apples (with the exception when fighting a necromancer you are allowed to have 10 apples)
*No petals
*Both mages must wear a spellbook & candle in hand
*No Pets/Summons
*No kingdom reborn client users
*No omening self/casting protection
*Hpr cap of 10

Dexxer vs Dexxer:
*No faction Aids
*No animal forms that allow faster speed movement
*No explosion pots
*No pets/summons
*No invis/teleport items
*No smoke bombs
*No kingdom reborn client users
*No bugged quivers of rage (Youll know what i meen when you use one)

I think ive cleared out everything
I know most dexxers wanted a no disarm policy. however this would to much favour bushido parry dexxers and archers.

Tournament will start 6 pm gmt
Gates will be opened at Luna and at Yew gate @ 5:40 pm gmt
Tournament will be at a new location (which personally i prefer much more
Entree fee will be 500k !
Also accepting donations to make the Winners Prices more worthwhile

Interested in PvP but don't know how to get started? This is the place where to meet the best Europa PvP:rs and ask for advices! There will prolly be ppl from every main PvP guild on Europa.

Cos apprentley they are faster speed, move like speedhackers to a 2d client

Actually that's not entirely true. KR seems faster because it has infinitely better pathfinding, no bumping into trees and rocks as you try to get from place to place, just point the cursor and go. It's one of the few areas that KR excels.

Yes it is true. If you are in totally clear terrain, you run neck to neck, when you make a turn, KR will take a big leap compared to 2D user,a nd 2D user is far behind.

have u not thought about making pvp mages more skill based like it should be.

IE 2/4 gm armor or something along the lines, after playing tonight armor regens are sick, we didn't really have anything back ago as sick as the regens you get now.
