Brand new crafting service by SupSoc Inc.

I have started a new crafting service that allows you to get paid. This is how it works:
Let SupSoc Inc. burn your runic hammers, tailoring kits, and fletching kits. After the completion of the craft, you get all the items PLUS a check for allowing me to burn the runic.
The checks are as follows:
500k - Valorite hammer
400k - Verite hammer
300k - Agapite hammer
200k - Gold hammer
300k - Barbed kit
500k - Heartwood fletching kit
400k - Yew fletching kit

I have crafted thousands of weapons and armor for others. I am one of the most trusted Atlantic players. I am extending this invitation out, to those who do not have mules. (Will even do it if you have a crafter though).

Soc has burned numerous kits and tools for me. Never had a problem...Always got every piece he made.
For sure someone I would trust to give a kit I had just bought for him to burn.

I've a crafter myself, but just curious... What do you get out of the exchange? I assume there must be a benefit for you, SupSoc, as you're paying for doing the favor.

That's way cool of you to offer, either way. I think we should have more player interaction/interdependance in this game than we do.

I don't think you know SupSoc, nor do you know the lengths he would go to make sure you are comfortable with the service. Furthermore, you don't seem to add anything constructive to this thread, so per rules of ToS, you should probably see yourself out.

Unfortunatly, the necessity to trust crafters just isn't there in today's UO. What he says is likely a valid concern of most people who don't know SupSoc personally (I don't know him), and its a valid one.

There needs to be a crafting overhaul, just like we needed one three years ago. I personally think, and I've posted such in the past and gone mostly unheard like so many others in the stratics sea of ideas, that we need real specialization in our crafting and a secure way to interact with crafters in a trade-to-craft type situation like SupSoc is proposing.

SupSoc, I'm afraid outside of folk you know and would probably perform the service for free for anyway, a lot of people will unfortunatly think similar thoughts.

I do have to say though, for those who don't know me, must not play Atlantic. Because I am Atlantic's # 1 broker and mule. I go to the extreme just to make sure (you) are happy with my service. I get asked daily to burn this, or burn that. Players I don't even know.

I will let you snoop me. I don't take anything in this game. I don't need anything. I have played the game for over 6 years now. I have did everything there is. This is a way I can give back to the community. This is what I like to do. Weins if you think for 1 min that I would exchange an item...your crazy.

I'm just saying that this is eerily familiar to the popular scam that went rampant across the shards around aos release. You may be honest but that doesn't mean much to the guy who wont get anything amazing from 10 val hammers.

If this seems fishy to you, say no and find someone else to burn the runic. But you won't find a deal like this anywhere. I am willing to bet that people of Atlantic will vouch for me, and knows I am very honest and trustworthy. Even Tazar will vouch for me I'm assuming!

I'll vouch for SupSoc I was in a guild with him for a brief time and he sold me a godly amazing Katana for 150 mill less then what I have been offered, just because I really needed a good weapon and he wanted to help me out. I have played UO since its release and have been scammed and have scammed so I don't trust many and am super careful. SupSoc is an exception I really do trust him to keep his word, for all you old timers he is like the Lord (name) Grandmaster Smiths of old that used to be at the Brit smithy when we all were newbiesm that would repair your vanquishing Bardichie and hand it back to you. I'm sure some of you remember those days. Take my recommendation however you want to just know he is the real deal.

there is a service beeing offered, that noone has to be part of if they dont choose to.

And i understand that not everyone these days had a crafter that has all the abilities + the gm Armslore to be able to craft these items at Max properties.
So its a nice Idea

Now if you do not want to run around wearing Armor by SupSoc then make it yorself, plain and simple.

If you do not feel you can trust him, make it yourself.

If you have your own mule, great, make it yourself.

but please dont be bashing peoples Ideas , just because you dont like them.

I actually have fairly limited experience with SupSoc in game, but being a Mod for this long, you get a good feeling for how someone is viewed by the masses.

Other than being caught in the crossfire of attacks on his guild, I have not really ever seen SupSoc as a target here. That generally means he is well respected and trustworthy. I also remember the recent survey of opinions when we searched for a new Mod for the forum a while back. Reviewing that thread, there are many many people that spoke up for SupSoc showing their respect. Those posts seemed to cross guild lines which also says a lot.

Believe what you will, trust who you will. But don't keep such a closed mind that you miss a chance at potential good friends.

Ive played 10 years and Ive seen SupSoc around plenty, never bought anything from him, spoken to him or had any dealings at all with him.

But I would like to say this, I find it comical that the guy in this thread that attempts to vouch for him (SupSoc could be the greatest thing since sliced bread I just dont know) admits he has scammed other people in the game.
