Everyone's name should be posted on the new Bank Designs. It's only fair.

There seems to be a little trolling going on here from bitter folk from the event rewards threads
I'd point out that the bank is a public monument that everyone can enjoy. The equivalent event reward would be a named statue in a hall set up to commemorate a story arc.

I am shocked this question was not brought up when the contest was first announced. This post just seems to be asking to start trouble and it seems "some" people on UHALL cannot accept someone winning something. Like events and such.
Its just like getting a trophy in real life. Are you really going to play on a baseball team and say. "Its not fair they get a trophy we came in fourth and deserve one."
Now I will put this in Bold since I am one of the winners. If the Chesapeake community voted and said they didn't want my name on the new Bank design then I would not argue.
I cannot say for sure if I would tell EA/Mythic I did not want my design used because, why would I want a community to be able to use something I worked hard to do for their enjoyment as well as mine if they are that petty.
I also won a Halloween house decoration contest on Chesapeake. Should I remove my characters name from the house sign as well? I mean that is only fair that if someone else house looks better then mine their name should not be on the sign.

I think the designers should be made known, even if it wasn't already part of the prize, a plaque or something to commemorate the renovations with the designers name is special to the shard not just the designer. I was very impressed with Sweety who won for Catskills, the designs were wonderful. I am going to enjoy using the bank once the design is in place.
Well it is sort of unfair to everyone who entered. Those people will have their feelings hurt because they were not recognized for their participation.
All the entrants did a fantastic job. I did not know it was part of the prize. I did not read any of the the rules, for I did not enter & had no intention on entering, so why read them. I / we have all seen some pretty sharp designs (Winning & non Winning) & I figured some type of recognition was due to the winners, that's all.

Sure it should be on a plaque, so long as its just a normal house-sign style sign. Nothing that would take away from the design itself, maybe just a little sign beside the bank door.

As someone who entered the contest, I do not expect my name anywhere on the bank. Everyone had an equal chance to win, and those who did should receive all the recognition. However, I would like, if possible, to one day have another shard beautification contest. Maybe this time we could design a park or something!

Yeah.. everyone that entered the contest should have their names put on every bank entry or at least recieve some sort of minor prize. It's only fair to those who participated, after all. Why should the winners be the only ones to have something to show off and brag about?
And it's gotta be an even thing too.. we don't want anyone getting aything that could be considered better than anything anyone else got. And certainly nothing they could sell.

Maybe they should just implement a system so that they can automatically give it to everyone in a certain region on each shard.. that way they can make sure everyone involved gets something. Or maybe add a moongate they can walk through to get it.

the reward should be some small commemorative trinket, given to everyone who participated, the grand-prize for the overall best should be something similar but while recognizing that they were 1st place... This would be suitable for comparisons to winning a trophy.
the actual design that gets used for the real bank in-game should be a compilation of the best elements from all of the submissions.. with either no names posted on the final design, or eeeeeeeveryone's name posted on it.

Actually they kept score at our soccer games. It is too bad I missed out on the new age scoreless ones. It might have made me a better person.Dragonchilde said:

I won and I'm not ashamed of it. It would be nice to see my name on the bank, I cant lie. This contest was total difference then the in game contest. The only thing I get for winning is recognition. I refuse to let someone make me feel guilty abut it. Its not like I'm not getting an uber idem I can sell for millions in game or real life.
