Are those blackrocks any use in the future?

I have a few of these pieces left, large and small.
I tried to cast armagedom(pun?) with them on my legendary mage but they dont seem to work anymore.

Are they going to have any use in the near future?
Can we PLEASE enable turn ins again and make it in Luna so I can help nuking Luna down to dust? In favor to revitalize classic cities hopefully...

At least you do not have to lock them down just pile them somewhere safe

Yes they will have a use but maybey not in the to near future is my guess, and I think you can find a post around hear that clarifies that, but i dont remeber where.

look dude, we only get 2 big updates a year. This year will remove one of those for the expansion release. So don't hold your breath, but its coming to you in the near future! LOL

I hope so and I hope i can trade it in for runic hammers and tokuno rewards again.

When the first turn in happened - there was some notion that you should NOT turn it in and not succumb to the evil temptation. I didn't turn it all in.

Now I wish I had. Seems there are no better use for it so far and I'd much rather have the aggy and better hammers that were possible. *sigh*

Made the wrong choice so far. Dev's prove me wrong!

WARNING - BLACKROCK STILL SPAWNS .......


I was mining in the Trammel Orc Cave with Ringmail gloves (+5 Mining) last night. Gargoyle Pickaxe. Set to mine both Ore and Stone. I dug up TWO small pieces of Blackrock in 15 minutes.

And a Valorite Ele

And 2 Shadow Eles.

Duh...smallblackrock never stopped spawning. I mine it up all the time. I am working on a collection to see how much I can amass before it is useful again.

nope not as far as i have seen, I left some in my house for a week and forgot to lock it down, its still there.

They better not have another turn in. That was just another dumb ass ideal by plp that don't play the game. Lets give the scripters a big pat on the back for all the BR they collected. Lets add a Library and Museum and take a holiday for months while they are abused. I can imagine there is a group of plp putting in game content into UO that are real good at opening doors with their shoulder blades. Have to where their heads are located most of the time.

Thinking about how the gargish use would be for crafting powered up some old vacuum tubes. Gargoyle is demon class. Every class has its enemy class. So if you play a gargoyle charater in the future...........would the enemy class be on you like a pixie on a necro?

Couple a months back I was shopping at a vendor and scattered on the ground in front of the vendor were 32 small pieces of BlackRock. Never could think of plausible explanation for that!

Last night walked into Luna Bank. Maybe 15 chars present and one piece of BR (which I scored) on the floor in the middle of bank. Everyone was afk?

I rememeber after the cute "warning" introducing us to blackrock, I used to have a fear that there would be an event causing it to start duping itself, migrating into lockdowns and bank boxes, filling all storage until every last piece was tracked down from every corner of one's house and trashed.

But more seriously, I would not be surprised to find it become a SA ingredient.
