Of course it's an attempt to milk the playerbase - every content addition to every commercially managed MMO is an attempt to milk the playerbase. EA does pretty well for themselves considering the miniscule amount of development time it takes for their average $30 UO related product, but the demand is there and these cash for items releases never really damaged anything, except the playerbases respect for EA/Mythic, but the standards for this were set LONG ago (AoS? Or earlier?)

My sincerest apologies for this confusion. It seems there has been a typo on the game codes store in relation to the 11th year collection items.

To clarify, the 11th year collection is a package of items. Each of the items contained in the package are listed correctly on the game codes store site. However, there is only one code that gives you the items and there is one of each item.

I've re-listed each item that comes in the package. There are 11 items total and one of each in the package.

01. Fallen Log

* This item is provided as a house add-on deed. (Blessed)
* You can sit down on it.
* You can select the direction when you place it in his house ("East" or "South")

02. Lamp Post (round style)

* Portable item (Blessed).
* You can turn on/off the light by w-click.

03. Hitching Post

* Portable item (Blessed).
* You are able to use it as a stable (animal trainer) when you lock down it.
* You can use all stable related speech commands and command menu.
* When you use it, you have to be in the house and have to be within 3 tiles from the hitching post.
* One charge will be consumed when you claim your pet.
* You can restrict users by access level.
* All players who can enter the house can use the "stable" command freely and it consumes no charges.
* Charge: 30 (Unlimited Rechargeable)
* You can recharge it by hitching rope.
* You can craft a hitching rope by Tinkering skill.
o Tinker 60.0 + Animal Lore 15.0
o Material: rope x1 & Resolve's Bride x1

04. Armor Engraving Tool

* Engraving tool for armors.
* Portable item (Blessed).
* Limited charges: 30 times (non-rechargeable)

05. Earring of Protection

06. Ancestral Gravestone

* When you w-click it, a praying message will be displayed over your character’s head.
o After 5 seconds, a random undead appears around you, the creature will speak a random message and disappear within 2 seconds. In addition, you can get the "+ 5 spirits speak" buff for several minutes.
o Cool -down Timer : 1 hour 30 min
o This buff will disappear, also when you log out.

07. Bulk Order Cover

* Scrolls that allow players to dye bulk order books.
* Limited charges: 30 times (non-rechargeable)

08. Wooden Bookcase

* Portable item. You can use it as a container.
* This Bookcase’s appearance changes based on whether it contains items or not.

09. Snow Tree

* Snow Tree.
* This is provided as a house add-on deed. (Blessed)

10. Maple Tree

* Maple Tree with red leaves.

Um They Paid for a Game Pack Upgrade With more stuff (content) The Items where gifts for buying the game...or upgradeing...I guess you can look at it as they bought the items when they bought the Game...But i dought they paid over 20 bucks for the Game box 11th Anniversary Addition...

So how much are they charging for these "important" items.

Put some of your resources towards getting some of the scripters/hackers out of your game.

There's 2 or maybe 3 things in the entire collection I might want and of those one that I'd like multiples of... but there's no way that I'd spend $30 for 8 items I have no use/need for simply to try to trade/sell for the items I do want.

If/when you figure out how to give us 3 (our choice) codes for $9.99 or something close to that, I'll be back.

Well ... how much gold would you trade? Not that I do this (yet), but you can look at these codes as a way to buy gold - get the items and sell them ingame to people who didn't want to spend real money for them. Good for the ingame economy.

I'd also point out that back with the 8th and 9th anniversary boxes, people kept asking for a way to buy the codes without having to buy the box.

( that all said, yeah, it's pricey pixel crack )

You get a set of "covers" of each color. Each cover can be used 30 times (so you can end up with 30 BOD books of each color = somehugenumberofbooks from a single code)

They make it right by offering 11 tokens for $11. Damn you know I'd buy 33tokens if they gave us a choice of what we wanted. Geez... really... does anyone remeber when an entire expansion ... you know with actual content cost $30?

I thought at first it was one token for 11 items, but the main site really got me excited about choosing 11 of one item (for example). What a mistake! What a mislead!
Didn't they have months to plan this out?
I know mistakes happen, but we can't keep forgiving every single time mistakes happen!!
