I've seen several people selling items for over a 100 million gold. My question is how do they transfer the checks if you can only hold 125 items?

The typical method is for the buyer to set up an empty plot, private, with all the checks locked down. That "house" is then transferred to the seller of the item.

The two then do swaps with two accounts of their older homes, if necessary, to "uncondemn" their existing houses, or just have an account set up without a house, specifically for such transfers.
