Two possibilities would be...
1.) They're looking to promote certain skins, officially.
2.) They're looking for suggestions/consultation for the SA interface.

I could be wrong...
But, it's the first thing that comes to mind

Hopefully they're going to take a look at what mods have added, and will be asking what has desired but unable to be added due to limitations in what we have access to.

I feel like I've let things slide.. I did some skins work a while back and haven't kept up the support side. With SA imminent, my enthusiasm's getting revitalised, though. Not sure what this thread will yield but surely Mythic working with the players/modders can only bear sweet fruit.

Fink I always loved your Nautical skin...would be great to see it with all the general fixes and options found in the "big 3" over at the Modders Exchange.

Ah, thanks.. I've never heard anyone say they like it, hehe.. if only I used it myself, it still would have been worthwhile.

I've applied the nautical look to BB_Enhanced, was a bit of a no-brainer graphically as I had my source material and that interface is so well mapped out. It's nice to see my skin working with those clever mods.

Some of the font colours need more contrast and the status portrait is off-centre. I've had trouble tracking down and editing those, so I'm bundling it with the stock code and likely hand it over to someone for tweaking.

I'm looking at doing some other themes along the lines of class, race, profession.. just depends what I have time for (studying this year) and what will have the most visual impact for the time invested.

That's interesting! A mage skin, a blacksmith skin, a necro skin. Very nice idea!

Don't forget an ORC skin! UI elements made out of "fort" style wood with lots of skulls, blood, and general disaray in the background images. Maybe an "Undead" motif or a "Dragon's lair" design...oh man, the possibilities!

I'm currently tweaking a merge of BB_Enhanced and Nautical, the first thing I wanted to achieve, but yes.. I'm excited to be moving onto new things. I've just started full-time study, though, so I probably won't be churning out skins too quickly. Unless I can somehow incorporate them into my assignments..

Cool! This thread is unstickied! (not me) Sticky threads are generally doomed. To be a real dynamic thread it needs to run free and live or die that way.

If you are going to give us performance tweaks (such as with graphics effects, shadows, etc.) please give us a way to measure it! It's nice to know when making changes whether it affects our system and gameplay.
