I would like to see factions carry over to trammal. Like order and chaos did. Anyone else?
I disagree with this, with the current new faction rules, what if I had all my characters in a faction and my house was in tram?? What then!!??...
Factions already carry over to Trammel... If Minax or Shadowlords takes a faction city in Fel it gets invaded in Tram.
As for the faction players thermselves... if anything Factioned characters should be limited to Fel. To me it's quite lame for someone to join Factions and hide their factions character in Tram for whatever reason.
You don't understand, all my characters are already in a faction, and my house is in Trammel when they made this change, I don't put up a house in Tram and then dump them in..Either move your house to Fel BEFORE you dump ALL of your characters into Factions, or do not dump all of your characters into Factions, one of the two.
The game has become very, very WoWish, very depended upon by items, people want their "0mg look at my uber l33t gear!" Even Pvpers, and that is why there is no more risk, people are not willing to lose sets of armor that are worth millions.. There is no more hardcore PvP because of this.. I would agree with you if there was no item insurance in Felucca, there shouldn't be.. Those already in factions btw probably do not want to be forced to be limited to Felucca, I know I wouldn't, people are limited to Felucca because they chose to do "bad deeds" in the game, and they wanted to do that... I don't join a faction to be limited to Felucca, especially when there is barley any reward in a faction, they are almost pointless, and then you have stat loss + beneficial acts, which makes red being much more fun than being any a faction.. So here is how it works, if factions were limited to Fel, why join when you can just go red?Ummm wah? Isn't that a prt of "life" in Fel? I thought Fel was about "risk" and that the main "risk" was the risk of losing your stuff due to PvP. Or are the "hardcore" PvPers all Trammies at heart?
There is a lot of things in the game that get the wrong player rewarded.. Some people get rewarded because they didn't deserve it and some people don't get rewarded because they did..It's up to the player to decide what the reward they want out of the game, so not sure what you mean by this one.
Read my thread on how they can implement factions in Trammel, and..... Warring is currently broken, there is no guilds that war.... NONE I SAY!I vote no.
My reasons being...
1) Trammel isn't a PvP facet (nor are the tram ruleset facets). If you want faction pvp in tram war other guilds.
2) The faction rule setting was just removed from tram, why re-implement it...
You fail, factions were never allowed to aggro each other in tram.2) The faction rule setting was just removed from tram, why re-implement it...
Yup, I dont remember pvping on trammel under any faction flag. You fail, factions were never allowed to aggro each other in tram.
Honesty... lets see... scripting, speedhacking and mass ganking. The last is ok... the first two are not. If/When those are fixed... you MIGHT see some players return to pvp.Faction fighting needs to be included in trammel. These cowards horde points by exploiting the point system just so they can wear their items. They never participate in factions and never PvP. Them doing this offsets the minimum points required to wear items for honest factioners.
I think it's a bad idea for a couple of reasons:
(1) It will make Fel even more sparsely populated than it is currently.
(2) Red characters will have even fewer targets than they do now.
(3) It would not be popular with people who only have one account and want to put their best fighter into factions. No longer would they be able to easily switch gears and use that character to do a lot of PvM fighting. Instead, they would have to devote whichever characters they put into factions to doing nothing but PvPing. About a year ago, the rules were changed to allow faction characters to benefit from "beneficial acts" in Trammel. Also changed was the rule that restricted you to one character per account per shard in factions. Now you can have multiple characters from the same account on the same shard in the same faction. I believe both of these changes were made SPECIFICALLY to encourage large guilds to get into factions and give their members the freedom to do PvP part of the time and to do other stuff in Trammel the rest of the time.
With the economy going the way it is, I think more and more people will be shutting down their extra accounts and finding themselves with fewer characters to play with. I'm not sure that many people will want to devote their fighters to PvP only and open themselves up to being clobbered or ganked and put into stat loss no matter where they go.
Just my two cents.
Which I think says more about the state of actual pvp then it does about the game mechanics of factions points....who cares if someone has upteen billion points? If it's about the actual combat... which we all know it is so pathetically riddled with illegal 3rd party programs, those that don't cheat can't compete. And battling a mirror image of yourself, in armor, template, and cheat programs quickly gets old. Want increased numbers in factions, fel or pvp? Drop your illegal programs. Compete honestly. You fail, factions were never allowed to aggro each other in tram.

I didn't fail. I was refering to the ability to heal/res and cast on active faction members in tram. You fail I say!You fail, factions were never allowed to aggro each other in tram.

ARGH!!! *aborts*Read my thread on how they can implement factions in Trammel, and..... Warring is currently broken, there is no guilds that war.... NONE I SAY!
I care if someone has umpteen billion points, because it raises the minimum points needed to maintain rank for faction gear... Psst.... insulting the person doesn't win you the argument.. just makes you look rather like a jacka**.I care if someone has umpteen billion points, because it raises the minimum points needed to maintain rank for faction gear... I guess I didn't make it clear for you.
In the future I'll try to limit it to 2 syllable words and I'll underline/capitalize the focal points so you can understand.
I do compete honestly. A few speedhackers aren't tough to deal with, it's the guilds of speedhackers.
Instead of organizing and fighting it sounds like you just run off to tram to do a Lady M.
