I imagine it would be very diffrent.

Pvp here seems to be mostly dominated by who has the best suit or the best weapon.
So you can imagine how vendor prices are.

aye insurance will save you in most cases, but there is plenty of stories where the insurance bug hit and with a 60 mill + suit it really hurts.
Sometimes you get lucky and the people will return your stuff thou.

On the other hand farming gold should be alot easier then on Siege.

Good Luck and i hope you enjoy your stay, look me up if you need anything

That's correct. There is no stat penalty for dying, though you will lose gold for renewing your insurance and a bit of fame... both very easily replaceable. Gold isn't quite as easy to get as it once was, since you can't send it with a bag of sending anymore, but it still drops in the same quantities... You just can't be as lazy. Heck, if you've half a mind to do it there are ussually piles of gold laying around various dungeons that are a pain to get in and out of because of that, and I imagine it could be a great way to get started. I saw about 300k on the ground in that one dungeon with all the spiders in ilsh.

You'll find, however, that your character will reach a playable level much much faster here (I piddled with seige for a bit a few years back), and that if you shop around a bit you CAN find good gear (relatively) inexpensively... You just have to completely avoid luna, which adds a lot of time to your shopping trips.

I think that about does it. The main PvP spot is Yew in Fel, or one of the dungeons.

Welcome to Atlantic!

KD, if you want a real shocker...walk around Luna and check out the prices of everything. Inflation has hit the production shards, and it has been hit hard.

Weapons that sell on Siege for 200-300k sell for literally millions and millions on the production shards.

It's sick...la

It's the gold being duped, as opposed to not. :(

That's not all of it, really it's not. Population has to do a lot with it also, 200 people farming gold can introduce a lot more into circulation than 50. With more gold to spend, people can and will get higher prices for items, simply because more is out there.

It's just like how when a real government prints or mints billions of currency a year without anything to keep it's relative value in check, the currency actually winds up with less buying power requiring you to spend more of it.

if they were smart enough to dupe...wouldnt they be smart enough to do it on a shard whose gold sells for 5x's what it does on a prodo shard?? if it were a duping issue, siege would have the same issue. no?

I'm sort of new here (or new back, at any rate), but I would ahve thought so. Presumably the same exploit that will dupe here will do so on any other server, and I would think on a server where you stand to loose everything you own to a bad lag spike, the motivation to cheat a bit to keep yourself geared up would be higher, not lower. *le shrug*

Acctually the biggest waves of dupes that we had in the past and that where fixed all had to do with shard transfers... so thats why siege was never affected...

i am not sure about how it is there now,
but i assume that even if the Val hammers or crap would get there who would buy a pice of armor for 200 mill and wear it only to loose it in the nevt pvp match???
