Very disturbing acts done by the Cupid on ATL

I was in Luna on ATL, when one of the cupids came up to me and started to talk. next thing i know this cupid is saying Very sexual acts he wishes to be done. I tried to page but when i did it said not a valid target.

Has UO sunk so low a Cupid character can talk about busting "something" on someone???

Methinks the devs need to try thinking of how things can be exploited when they want to add something.

With the cupids, harassment would be up near the top of my list since they can say whatever you want. They must be very ignorant of the people who play this game.

But I think it's funny nonetheless.

I think that would be a misuse of the valentines as well, and would be just as poor a decision on your part

Rather than change it and punish everyone for the bad behavior of a few, the bad behavior should be a GM issue and dealt with accordingly.

I say just walk away. the cupid seems to only be able to stay in place when it;s been summoned so it;s not going to follow you.
If the player using the cupid with that message is following you and keeps summoning it at you.. then page harrassment and target the player. not the cupid. It;s not the cupid's fault and i would hgate to see if screwed up because of stupid ppl and their nasty minds.

That reminds me of something that we Atlantians did one time... Stuffa, GM of RBG, would occasionally organize these "shard invasions". Essentially, we all made completely pointless characters named Barton on a server, and then would run around doing silliness. The one I went along for, I don't remember who's idea it was (probably Stuffa's), but we crashed Yew gate. So these 'leet PvP dudes had about 30 naked guys named Barton swarming all over them while shouting "BARTON!" or some variation thereof, and it got quite entertaining. Whenever they'd kill us, we'd go get res'd and return to the fray! Good times.

Personally, I think that while of course this is something that needs delt with to some degree, its freakin' hillarious to see someone post about it. Not that it shouldn't be posted about, but... I don't know, I just cracked up when I read that some guy was saying a cupid was going to bust "something" on him.

They are fun and amazing toys. I believe people should be accountable for their actions. Spree and I played with it a bit that first night and predicted this would happen. I guess most missed the post. Spree should be a playtester...

I personally would rather have one of these fools banned, than two cheaters. Speedhacks and dupes dont affect me, but this crap does, cause it means down the road we can't have more freedom of creativity with our gifts.
