As it is right now, the only good a crafter is in factions is for crafting traps and trap removal kits (correct me if I am wrong). Since there seems to be some interest from the devs to increase the amount of players in faction with the faction invasions, maybe they might look at some other ways.
Faction Crafters:
Now all of the items used would not be repairable, so constant creation of these items would be needed. Not sure what types of items, but they would only be faction useable.

- Alchemists: create faction pots
- Blacksmiths: create faction armor and faction weapons.
- Carpenters: create faction weapons, faction instruments.
- Cooks: create faction food.
- Inscription: create faction spell books, and faction spell scrolls.
- Lumberjacks: harvest faction wood types.
- Mining: dig up faction ore and faction jewels.
- Tailors: create faction armor and faction clothes.
- Tinkers: create traps as they do now, and create some faction weapons.
