I'm afraid i have some very bad news.

The avalon town hall is no more.:sad3:

It fell this morning.

The PvM guild looted everything that was not nailed down.

I am in...what can only be described as absolute shock. *Sighs* Thank you for posting, UltimatePower.

Avalon, known as the City of Destiny, was one of our shards first and most influential player-run community; along with the Kingdom of Dawn, the City of Haven, the Mage Tower, and the Dark Tower. It had a profound impact on our shards history and destiny, and to this day people still speak warmly of the Avalonians. In fact, WildStar and I were talking about Avalon this morning; only minutes before I read this thread and discovered the tower to be gone.

It was my sincere hope, through use of this thread, to finally get in contact with the lurking Avalonians and see if we could get them involved with the roleplaying and the storylines now emerging from their sister-city, the Kingdom of Dawn. They've had a long history as our neighbor, and we had planned on celebrating their hereitage this Sunday during Dawn's 11th Anniversary.

If anyone discovered any books, or personal belongings, that belonged to the Avalonians; I am willing to purchase or barter some of it. I am not interested in their rares; only the preservation of their history.

This is very unfortunate and the likeliness of PVM returning any of the items is minimal as they do not have a history of returning anything. Taslin?

As of yesterday evening, Taslin was contacting guildmembers and providing information as he received it. Some things, such as the guildstone, are probably lost for forever as it was on display and not being stored in deed form.
I personally wish to thank Taslin for his efforts and concern.

Actually when a house falls, the guildstone becomes a deed and is labeled for that guild.

Lord Taslin has kept up an ongoing dialogue with Lady WildStar of Dawn. It remains unclear what might've been recovered from the wreckage and what may be forever lost; but we're hoping that any player-written books and personal memento's identifiable with Lord Shard and the other Avalonians has been rescued from the rubble.

Our history is very important to all of us, and the collapse of Baja's oldest player-establishment is a heavy blow.

Actually when a house falls, the guildstone becomes a deed and is labeled for that guild.
We're hoping that's the case. At the moment, no one knows where the guildstone deed may have disappeared to.

In all the IDOCs I've attended, I've never seen a guildstone redeed .. I'm not saying it doesn't happen ... I truly hope I'm wrong, and there's a possiblity this historic guildstone may still exist.
