Unbalanced Unfair Faction Items on Siege Perilous

I don't see it as a false premise either on Siege or on standard Prodo shards.
If your in a guild that doesn't run Factions then you are basically left out. Unless an attacker or defender is in stat loss the Faction items give them an edge, one of the best features of Siege though was that for the most part everyone was on equal footing, equipment ment much much less, not disposable faction artifacts have entered the system, and I say disposable because silver can easily be farmed, which does imbalance things.

Same holds true on other shards, if I'm in a guild that doesn't participate in factions now I have to overcome the benefits that faction artifacts bring by spending even more on a suit. I don't have access to throw away artifacts, not to mention the fact they have better resists/mods even as throw aways, to build one.

Throwing them away solves nothing if they can easily get a replacement. You can farm enough silver to acquire the items in a short period.

How does that sound like insurance? If the arties reverted to silver it could be looted and used by the victor...

You didn't say the silver stayed onthe corpse...I thought you meant it went to their bank.

Here's a fix. If the items are on the player when they die...the faction items disappears, never to return at the time of the character's death...nothing to loot then...la

currently it is worthless to fight someone in factions..
a faction tag on siege to me is a flag for gimped out gank squad.
i dont bother fighting a factioner(s)...

TDO now has factions and it is why I am no longer in TDO.

Factions are not my play style.

Ok this is coming from a player with all of his PvP characters in faction.

First of all I don't know about siege, I don't want to deal with RoT and unkillable stealthers nor do I like to go in to a field with ****ty suit just to have a no skill all kill lucky rng instant kill crap happen to me.

On prodo shard, faction arties are a bonus. By taking the advantages of these items you are committed to many things. 1. No beneficial acts from anyone other than your guild. 2. No safe place in fel. 3. If you are red it makes things even harder as many faction enemies will try to get that kill shot and stat you while the non-faction players gank you. 4. Statloss (face it you don't want this so you don't want factions) and at the sametime QQing(sour grape?) when the committed group gets the upperhand.

What I don't understand is all the self-claimed hardcore pvpers out there that talks very loud yet too afraid(?) To committ to factions. No one is stopping you all the faction items awaits. GG
