I just did a smile champion spawn and man at the damage your weapon takes. I can see bigger and stronger slimes as creatures fun and challenging to over come in combat. Could be useful to have an upgrade that slows this damage. If not through imbuing then maybe some sort of alchemy oil that works on you weapon like the orange petals work on poison resist.

I dont want it removed at all, its not difficult to find soul seekers/repair items these days.

What i do want is an explanation as to why a dexxer hits a slime and acid spits on the weap , however a mage using a -mage sc weap doesnt if he hits them. I understand why it happens but iw ant to know why and if its going to be fixed, if not im gna be carrying a new type of scimmy for first level rat spawn.

Removed?!?.. Umm I never said remove it. Not only that, I was using a self repair weapon when this was writen. and it does not work fast enough to repair from slime damage. ALSO there are very few weapons that work for all weapon skill that self repair.

Sorry i mis understood.

The self repair will be a mod you can add with imbuing, plus youll be able to make "throw" away weapons for the low level champs, after all all you really need is a whirlwind with DI.

Im more interested as to why some weaps with a certain property dont take damage.

Last I read self repair won't be allowed in imbuing. But I haven't been keeping up. Has the stance on this changed?

I like this idea.

I don't see any reason to dislike this idea aslong as it cant be added on top of an items current mods (ie you may have to sacrifice DI or SSi to have this mod)

If it is alchemy then it could have a timer same as the orange petals do and would need to be reapplied. If imbued it would be permanent.

I don't think we really need Imbuement, just make the crafting the same. Make blacksmithing and bowcrafting simlar using the resouces too add different properties to items. I find it interesting that when you take a really good weapon with 100% physical damage and enhance it with valorite it will turn it into junk.
