If you take a freshly picked furniture dye tub and just use it on something that has already been dyed will it dye it back to the original color or will it just dye it to grey? Anyone ever try this, please post.

It goes back to the original item colour. This also removes material colour if applicable.
You can also reset your furniture tub to 'default' on the context menu, so you can undye from a used tub.

I completely forgot about that option. Now I don't have to keep so many "original" furniture dye tubs around my houses! Thanks for the reminder.

They did??!!!?? How'd I miss that?!Yah they added the default option a while back (ty devs!) so you no longer need to keep an unused tub handy for un-dying. It's awesome!

Took me a couple tries to find it since I was expecting to see it on a menu like other tubs, but I did find it! Woohoo!!!
Now, what am I going to do with two furny dye tubs when I only need one?
If you transferred to Napa to give my carpenter one, I wouldn't complain...

Give one to your alchemist and keep another for around the house?
There's nothing wrong with having more than one. All little vet rewards need a home. Wraith and I have a refuge, of sorts - for orphaned dye tubs.
