tattered, deviously drawn treasure map ... somewhere in ILSHENAR?

anyone know about these? i never have seen a map for ilsh?

Bugged item when Ilshenar came out. Treasure map locations do not exist in Ilshenar. When you use your cartographer to make a map it creates a grayish colored unknown something or another map.

That is a quite rare item they do NOT exist or spawn any more and can go for quite some gold hang on to it till you find somebody that know's the exact value of it's rarity.

Leave it in a container at home.. they sometimes change to tram/fel maps if left in your backpack or bank.

I wanted to smack myself when I put my castle deed in my pack and loged out. Say I haven't seen one of those in a while. Did they all finally convert?

I've still got a deed to a stone and plaster house....haven't seen a castle in ages, no idea if there's any still around on Napa at least.

I did that with my whole set of house deeds once, when i had to move all the stuff out of my house to place a keep. I'm still awful sad about it.


BTW to the OP, don't decode the ilsh map, it will ruin it. Last I checked they were going for about a mill per. Oh, another awful thing I did was turn in about 10 of those ilsh maps to the t map guy at the library. Yeah, I'm dumb.

Not to derail this thread, but what's this about the house deeds? Are they doing something strange when put into a pack? Are we talking about the old, real house deeds, or the mini, decorative ones?

I had it happen right after I had purchased a keep deed... I got disconnected (not UO, my Cable) and when I logged back in I had that stupid sick feeling when I opened my pack to find a House placement tool damned gremlins I tell ya !

Oh sorry about that got off topic... I saw one of those maps on a Luna Vendor in Lake Austin listed at 2.5 mil and it was there for quite a while so I assume its overpriced at that. hehe only reason I still even check the guy's vendors (he's usually way overpriced) is cause he on occasion misprices stuff in deed form like bulk leather and ingots. I got over a million worth of lumber of various types off him for less than 500k one time! hehe karma rocks!

A note about the house deed to house placement tool conversion: if you take it to an architect/real estate broker NPC then they will exchange the tool for the original value of the deed, back when they could be bought from NPCs
