Umm....not to sound like a grinch or something, but why are so many of these events planned for late afternoon or evening of Valentine's Day? With it falling on a Saturday this year, did the EMs consider that a lot of people might have other plans that night that don't include playing UO? I appreciate that the EMs are using their own time to do the events, but the timing seems just a bit odd. Can't you push the Saturday events to Sunday or something?

Can someone from EA-Mythic who is particularly knowledgeable about the Warriors of Destiny event cycle (hey, Dungeon Master Draconi!! that probably means you!!) tell us if these events are connected to that event cycle?

If it is....I can't speak for anyone else who regularly edits UO Guide, but for my part I think I'll wait to see what happens to see if this is another Chapter of the event cycle or if, story arc-wise, we'll still basically be in "Ascension."

So all I'm asking you to give away, and that only if you can, is if this event is part of the event cycle.

Feel free to answer "wait and see."

I am hoping that there will either be various events throughout the day, or possibly replaying of events at different times.

We've got nice dinner reservations I believe for that evening, and I would never think of missing our V-Day celebrations together for gaming. However, I would love to be able to participate in the UO Valentine's Events, too, at least in part.

The EMs don't have loved ones to spend the day with, so you shouldn't spend the day with your loved one.

Love and Misconceptions? I get the Love part and the events being held mostly on valentines day, but Misconceptions....we have none of those in UO (we have the FOF to explain everything).

I wish that they would start doing these damn things in the week. I work two 12 hour shifts sat & sun, and I'm getting sick of not being able to do this crap.

I want to know who if the world thought hold an event on V-day was a good idea???
Most of the people that play this game have things that they have to do irl on holidays (i.e. families, loved ones, ect.) Maybe you should go back to that rule about running things only during the week "incase of problems". Or maybe just look at the calendar to see if it might not be a good idea?

Are you sure that 11 am EST is noon your time and not 10 am (if you're in the CST zone)?
