we have people in pvp who can shoot my stealther even before i myself realize i am revealed. they can target us instantly upon reaching our screen, and if we walk into their screen, we can see about 6 -7 "xxx is attacking you" come at the same time, even if we just entered their screen for the first time.

this is a hilarious joke. my entire guild has been pinging the GMs about this, telling them of players who can target instantly all the time, but it seems nothing can be done. and we've even found in their message boards a link to this third party-programme that has this ability to target orange names instantly.

third party-programmes are killing pvp, and it seems the only way to fight these cheaters is to have to resort to using the same third-party programmes, which my guild doesn't want to do. can anybody in charge respond to this? and tell us how they plan to solve this problem?

This may not help as im guesing your orange to actually play factions properly and control towns, but you could leave factions and thieve that way.

Its a bug that needs to be reported, I was hunting gamans the other day for horns and I started shooting arrows to no where, well I auto attacked a ninja (NPC) stealthing up on me. So I am guessing its a bug that they don't really know about. Go try it yourself on test and send them a report that you have recreated it.

If your stealthed and flag on an archer they can shoot at you even before you are revealed, this has been going on for a while now and is probably connected to the above complaint, if I read it right he is saying he can be attacked without flagging on them and while stealthed? this sounds rather more serious, unless he means simply upon becoming revealed he is instantly attacked. Some people are fast, but as i don;t know this situation i won;t comment.

All i know is that being able to shoot at someone stealthed just because they have flagged you isn't right! It would be like becoming aware of someones intentions.. when ure not even aware of thier prescence!

did the same thing yesterday my self I am running around tokuno and all of a sudden I start shooting at empty screen after about 2 or 3 shots the ninja appears started thinking I had finally stayed up to late and was loosing my mind kinda nice to know Its not me lol

ah well, shot myself in the foot and did not make myself clear enough

im aware of the situation you guys are talking about, where u can get shot while stealthed, and i'm equally puzzled

but the one i was hoping to refer to is where i get revealed, and this enemy guild can target me instantly (almost at automated speed i would even say) after i am revealed.

and so the same goes for when i walk (revealed, with other templates for eg. mages, warriors) into their screen, and all of them can target me instantly and at the same time, without me being on their last target list (appearing for the first time the whole night).

heck. i even had a guildmate, who, just coming into the war for the first night, recalled to a bad spot (right in the middle of the enemies), and was dismounted and shot at instantly-.....

and this instant targeting also happens even in champion spawn areas with lots of monsters around, so we know that it's not "select next -> mobile" or whatever uo macro. and all of the enemy can target us even while running, so we highly suspect it's not just a mere case of using the mouse to drag our health bars as per normal pvp.

and lastly, the absolute speed with which they do it (we have 8+yr veterans on our team who can't even target faster than some of the enemy guild's newbie members.....) leads us to suspect some sort of automated targeting system is being used.

and finally of course, we found a link in their message boards asking their players to check out this third party program's website

i understand all of this is circumstantial evidence, but the sudden transition of this enemy guild from normal pvp (normal targeting speeds) to the absolute instant targeting speed which they all uniformly now have, coupled with some other factors (see below*) lead us truly to suspect some third-party programme is being used. and we'd repeatedly paged the GMs many times over 2 weeks, with no visible effect.

*we also found that they could have their dragons perform an "all kill" on us even without them being on the screen itself. that is to say, while being chased by an enemy dragon, we would use a smoke bomb and disappear, but upon reappearing, the enemy dragon could 'retarget' us instantly, without the enemy tamer appearing anywhere on the screen (this is impossible, as even a context menu "all kill" will reveal the tamer). after some research we found that this third party programme could enlarge the game play area of the uo screen, and think that this possibly explains why we can be targeted even from 'off-screen'.

I'd just like to point out, being orange makes you an "enemy". Spam 'target next enemy' with 'always attack' on in KR, and this is exactly the effect you get. This works on enemies off screen.. I know this because I pull mobs this way.. Don't do any PvP really, but it works on "orange" enemy guilds.

Perhaps there is a 3rd party program doing the same thing.. Can't really complain though seeing how I can do exactly that with normal game mechanics..

Enlarging your screen is also a nice feature of KR.

hmm it's definitely a possibility, but whenever we see screenshots from this enemy guild it's always in 2d uo. also, i think many pvpers will agree that few or no people pvp using KR.
