You know, its kind of sad that it wasn't available when it should have been.
Personally, in the past I've ordered things from the site (like the tokens) to give out to UO friends as X Mas presents. It would have been nice to have had it available.

It would probably be nicer, less stressful, more fun and definitely easier than what I do now, however... I probably make more money doing my current job. I think I'll pass.
OMG If I had a job where I could pick and choose to what I respond to instead of being OBLIGATED to answer every single question that comes my way... Oh, that would be heaven!
I said it in another thread, but perhaps EA is waiting for SA to release the new tokens, as they did with the 9th Anny upgrade and Heritage Tokens.

Personally, I get tired of hearing "he she probably has a life". They don't seem to have one when it comes to hooking the Asian shards up with whatever they desire, but when the rest of us ask where ours are, someone chimes in and kisses someones butt with the same old, "Good grief, they have a life ya know"....sickening.

This is their job. Their job is more important than having a life.
Maybe if they more customers like one of ours at work they'd anwser more questions.
Okay now I'll explain it I work for a small company that supplies batteries and other items. One of our largest customers is a large telecommunications corporation. They purchased a extreme large quantity of a product, we do not carry extremely large quantities of items because our space doesn't allow for it. The order was sent to the manufacturer of said item. The order was sent well ahead of the Christmas holidays, but the manufacturer closed for two weeks for Christmas. So the order wasn't filled and shipped till JANUARY 5TH! Needless to say I had a person for afore mentioned telecommunications corp. call and SHREEK in my ear about their items not arriving. I turned the call over to my boss who also was shreeked at by this angry person. Maybe if they had to put up with that they MIGHT learn about communicating with customers!

Agreed! A good portion of " My life" is making sure my JOB is getting done and done right, that my customers are taken care of.. Doing so Insures "My life" is better when I get one. Besides its ALL my LIFE including the "work".
I don't think its too much to ask for a statement as to why we are still waiting.

Maybe that's just me.
It's on an Asian shard. You'll have to play that shard to get one.

Not exactly true. They have shown up on LS as I am sure they have on other shards as well. Either those in Japan who have bought them had transferred them or as someone posted in another thread, they had access to them (how they wouldn't say) but they would then have them on their home shard which wasn't an Asian shard.

There are some running around on Baja as well.. the lucky few? or the cheaters? If they don't want to give the rest of the world the 11th anniversary tokens, then they need to ban any non-asian shard account that has these in their possession, bank box, display and/or vendor.
Let's add the wooden cows and muffins too.. if that's something every shard doesn't have access to, and only a select few have them on non-asian shards.. then it needs to be a ban-able offense to have them. If these are special event items set up for some shard which has the favor of the EA/Mythic/UO team, then it needs to stay there and there only. Anyone who tries to cross shard transfer with them needs to loose them immediately. Anyone who tries to acquire them on the non-target shard needs to be banned from the game. Period!

My memory is a bit fuzzy, but the ability to buy the token doesn't depend on whether you play on one of the Jap shards, tons of people created chars there. The restriction is a billing/shipping address in Japan. Yes, Japan only, not other asian countries like Korea and Taiwan or even Oz.
People that got them probably falls into 1 of these 2 categories:
1) Lucky enough to have friends working in Japan (including the military base), so they can possibly have their friends get it for them.
2) Bought off a vendor on the Jap shards and transferred it over.
