Doesn't the account name and charname appears in the Desktop folder in UO directory anymore? I made a bunch of macros and wanted to cope them to another char but nada. :(

Heeeeelp me.. Where is the directory where my macros are stored?

I belive they were moved to the "my documents" folder while back to comply with microsoft,or soemthing like that. But check your "my documents" folder and they should be there.

Ya I had this exact same problem just a couple days ago ... I figured it was a Vista thing, since I haven't messed in the folder since getting Vista. But yes, the files are found under "My Documents". (Documents>EA Games>UO>User Data>'account name'>'shard'>'characters' ...)

It must have been one of the more recent patches since I could still go into the original director before I patched for OSI UO. :)

It was one of the recent patches. It cleared up an issue with certain Norton AV products clearing user-defined macros.

I say certain Norton products, as I am running Symantec Corporate AV, and haven't ever had any issues with it and UO, or any other program.

yes, it was introduced in the last publish. It brings it into line with more current game practice, but most important, it stops the newest version of Norton deleting people's macros.
