When are you gonna fix the east bridge? It took 934785345 years to fix the west bridge, then they added the east (which was a good idea by the way) and its broken! Sheesh!!

Maybe a DEV or someone higher up can comment if this was intended or if it will be fixed sometime and they forgot

Funnies thing about that bridge is that you can target spells only to targets on you, or right in next tile. Still mobs keep casting on you from where ever on that bridge.

Lets be honest, this was an extremely sloppy oversight from the people we call devs.

They create a bridge which is buggy, constant pages/bug reports/requests on stratics and countless months pass before they finally manage to fix this.

Then, they go right ahead and create another bridge with the exact same problems?

WTF? Thats absurd even by UO standards!

To make matters worse, this relentlesly abused, buggy bridge has been left again for months with no sign of a fix, despite freequent pages/bug reports/requests on stratics for it to be sorted.

That is not true. The monsters are affected by the same line of sight as players. If they cast the spell before you are out of their sight it still goes off. When the spell goes off and when they cast it are not the same moment.

I am kinda partial to that bridge. It is an absolutely EXCELLENT place to be standing as a dexer when 4th pops, and an equally lovely place to run when someone forgot to clear the island during 3rd.

Also, JC is right - monsters are equally effected by the LoS on it (which is what makes it such a great "escape route")
