Today I was training my poor bard in Twisted Weald, when I saw a group of players working the spawn at the alter there. I know I've seen it behave as a champ but never seen it go past the centaurs. Well today with this group and my provoking lil bard we got it all the way to the top. After getting our butts kicked by enraged grizzly bears and Feral TreeFollows, out popped Twaula. Well cool I had never seen him before, but then realized he was a paragon!! Now this posed several problems, most of the orginal party gave up after a bit then I brought on my mage and yelled in Ally chat for help. So here comes the troops!!! Took forever to take him down!!

So what I am looking for is anyone else that has taken him down or information about that champ. It's not even listed on Stratics champ essay or the champ stuff on uo.com. lol

Thanks in advance for the help.

btw..I did find this on uoguide, but it doedsn't tell me much more than I already knew

I dont have a link for ya, but I would love to see the devs. let those loose (enraged grizzlies that is) throughout the woods in both tram and fel. Would make a good lil addition for those who like to do things unattended. :)

A Small group of Gr Drags (about 4) will take him down in less time then it takes for Enemy of One to wear off the 2nd time... tis very fast. If ya blink, you'll miss it

Paragon Twaulo... like gold colored paragon?

Now THAT I've gotta see!

Anyhow I've done that one 3 times now, and have a plan for #4. I'll be collecting information about enraged grizzlies and feral treefellows to submit for the hunter's guide and uoguide rather than killing them. And two out of three Twaulo's I didn't kill because the enraged grizzly paragons were munching on half the party. And they don't seem to forget you if you die either (or invis, or leave the area. I love them!)

Anyhow, what sort of information do you want about these things? Tactics? Rewards? Titles? nuts-and-bolts information about the grizzlies and treefellows? Something else?

The standard template Stratics uses can be found here in the hunter's Guide. Update as needed for any of the newer monsters that you want to do.
In addition, anything totally unique that you might find out about them just tack on at the end.

Stratics was built on volunteer information from helpful players and we appreciate any information donations. I am not sure who to send them to, but if someone does not chime in and tell you where, feel free to PM them to me and I'll pester everyone till I get it done. :)

Well Snake, this buddy was a paragon!! I will be doing that one again!! To gather more info as well. I wasn't even prepared for taking pics or anything and was there on my lowly bar just working provo. And then my mage came and it was constant die/res heal. So didn't have time, but by George I'll be back!!!! Next time on my tamer so I can get more info!!

Anything! As I said I wasn't prepared to do any kind of note taking. I honestly thought til the enraged grizzlys and the feral treefellows spawned it was like Oaks. Man was I surprised as were a lot of my guildies that came to help. Now I have to convince them that it doesn't spawn that way naturally. Btw I am sending that in as a bug, cause I don't think they should spawn as a para, the champ I mean. I've done dozens of other ilsh ones and never seen or even heard of a para champ. It was fun though, and I will be going back!!

what would be really cool is if it dropped a paragon chest, and if its not a bug i would love to collect chests from all of the islh champs

I hate to say it, but I hope it's a bug, at least with him. Those are tight quarters and with all the other stuff spawning paras....that was way insane!!

I think because it's Ilsh is why he spawned Paragon... I think it's a minute chance that he does... but he did.

I think Ilsh oaks, or the Valor/Humility spawns can do the same.

Makes it that much more of a fight =)

I've never seen any of the ilsh champs spawn as a paragon, and haven't heard. Not to say that's the truth, just my experience. My biggest malfunction with esepcially Twaulo spawning as a paragons is the close quarters. It's a bit hard to re group and lick wounds, yes you can exit through the sparkly portal, but thats just not as much fun lol. And if he gets left on the portal, it's doom and gloom to whomever walks though. My biggest concern would be him popping as a para and no one taking it down, leaving unsuspecting people to get hurt.

I would love to do this champ again on Atl. I have done it twice to completion, and several times without finishing. Anyone interested?

One key thing to remember about that champ is that NONE of the creatures are aggressive towards positive karma characters. That includes the champ. It is difficult to work it past the satyr stage though without having to takeout some cu sidhes which lowers your karma quickly. Still if you start at Glorious Lord/Lady and avoid killing pixies, dryads and all but a few cu sidhes you will have no problem with karma. If your karma drops to neutral you can be sure the paragon versions of the dryads will come after you with a vengeance.

Some other tidbits. Twaulo is not only a centaur but a bard as well. Its nice to have a legendary disco along to work their magic on him. In fact, this spawn has to be one of my bard's favorites. Teams of bards working the spawn in unison are a real help. Discoing all the paragons and then provoking all the non-paragon stuff on them really helps speed things along. If you're lucky enough to get 2 paragon satyrs provoked on each other they will wipe out a ton of spawn as they provoke everything on each other.

I think the satyrs are by far the worst part of this spawn. Despite your careful attempts not to hit any positive karma creatures, when you start messing with the satyrs they will provoke that stuff on you. For tamers its best if you attack the satyrs with multiple pets. The idea is to kill each one as fast as possible not giving it a chance to play its deadly flute.
