Potted Cactus?

Forgive me if this has been answered but I didn't find a definitive answer on it recently. If you pick the Potted Cactus as a rewards, are we able to pick the one we want/redeed them yet or are you stuck with whatever you get?

yes this was fixed in pub 57.
tho i havent tried it personally.

I can't recall if I picked my cactus prior to Publish 57 or not, but I was not given a choice.

I thought I'd read somewhere that the change didn't get in the pub they had hoped it would. So rather than take it on LS and find out they didn't change it, I would like to test it on TC. Any idea how to Mel?

I thought there was some sort of moongate you go through, then you log out and back in. You should then see the options for vet rewards. Of course, I could be insane and just making it up.

I found the gate, I went through, I logged out and back in but nothing. Hmmmm . . . I vaguely remember you are right about this though.

You do need to use the gate, log out and back in to get the reward gump and then use the gate again to use the reward (if your account isn't old enough I guess to use the reward you chose). However, my problem was that the same account on TC1 drops 5 months from what it is on LS. Therefore, it wasn't registering that I could get a reward so I had to try a different account. It too dropped 5 months from what it was on LS so I guess the account ages on TC1 are 5 months (thereabouts) behind from the regular shards.

Yes you do get to pick the cactus you want originally now, at least on TC1.

What a coinkidink, I just placed one this morning because I was curious about the exact same thing. LOL However, I think I bought mine before the fix because I was able to select the cactus I wanted but I was unable to redeed it. No matter I like the one I selected.

To clarify, I was able to choose what potted cactus I got. However, I was unable to redeed it. Once I made my choice about which one I wanted, that was it. No going back, no changing. I assumed that was the way it should be. Instead of getting a random one, we get to choose but once the choice is made, you were stuck with it.

If anyone knows for sure if this is the way it is intended, I would love to know.
