Lumberjack bonus in combat?

I don't have much info on it, but I believe you get 25% DI when you use an axe wep (in combat) with LJ. I'm sure it only works with an axe wep tho.

is you are a swordsman/woman, using any axe weapon (Except the war ax as that is macing) you get a bonus Damage increase depending on your lumberjacking skill. At 100 lumberjacking the bonus is 30%.

Well I just came back to UO recently and I wanted to know if Lumberjacking would be worth the points in pvp? I currently have 6x120 bushido/parry but I have lumberjack GM'ed on a stone.

Also note I play Siege Perilous and have a nice fast battle axe with HLD and Lightening as my main weapon..

I think LJ went out of style as you can get the 30% DI thru jewls or other means and not spend the 100 skill points on it.

Isn't Lj Base Damage not DI?

LJ is a skill like tactics and anatomy that can exceed the cap that DI has

so you could have 100% DI plus bonus from LJ

Yes, it is a % of the base damage of the weapon.

I used to have lumberjacking on one of my PvP chars. I dumped it in favor of meditation.

The extra 4-5 damage you will do is not worth the 100 skill points.
