One Book to rule them all!!

I would like to see a Crafting addition, the ultimate book.

This book is made when you start combining your slayers.

It would be a work in progress book meaning you can add more slayers to it as you get them.

The finished product is a All in one slayer book.

No more 8-10 books in your pack, all the work to get the slayers is the same, only it reduces item count, gets scribes working again, save trips to house or bank to get the "right" book.

Won't happen, You didn't take into account the function of the slayer system where you take extra damage from having an opposed slayer equipped.

What is good about this book is that while this book is equipped the opposed function is off (It is THE ultimate book).

Just think of all those wasted lock downs(poof, gone).

I know it would clean my house up greatly.

Maybe I am just messy(lazy) but oh man! cleaning my mages pack upon death is such a pain.

I honestly would like something new to do with my scribe as well.

Hmmmm, if you take extra damage from everything you fight, would you still use this? Would it balance this sort of item?

And still take appropriate damage. The balance is no damage modifiers.

What you are proposing is eliminating half the slayer system. Who would use any other book than the one you suggest?

A better idea would be books within a book. Have a main spellbook that would hold 10 spellbooks. You would be able to clean up your pack and still keep the entire slayer system intact.

Just activate the slayer spellbook you want to use and still take damage based on the opposing mob.

I'm a mage but I'm also against this game getting any easier.

No to the Super duper Slayer.

Another idea would be to have 2 Super Duper Slayer books, So you hold one book and it has all on one side, drop it and pick up the other and you have all the opposing side, A bit like a Weapon user changing his weapon depending on what he is fighting.

To address that question, I would say people would still use others books. Example I would still use all of my slayer books that had..say SDI, even the ones with mana regen and faster casting, lower mana on it.

As far as making the game easier...na you still have to make the Spell books in order to create THE BOOK, that in it self is a pain.
Getting rid of wasted space was the main reasoning behind my idea. Think how many spell books are in circulation taking up space in homes and players packs.

Giving scribes something to do would be nice too.

Adding a drop down menu to the book to pick which slayer you would currently be using would get around the specific opposing slayer damage issue.
