strong evidence about who was doing the hacking

ok i got hacked, i and i think i know how.
the email that was used for the account that got hacked is also registered to a certain uo forum. the other accounts i have are not registered to the same email were ok

the person that runs these boards is seen as a personality within the stratics and Atlantic community.people in this guys guild run around on beetles that can carry over 26k stone in weight i know this because i killed one of them and there was over 26k of boards in the beetle they were riding.if you look on his site you see people in his guild posting pics that clearly show illegal 3rd party progs running in the taskbar. years ago when you could sell items on ebay this guy was running a monopoly selling gold and other items on ebay.i have even stood at a vendor of a broker who is in that guild that has an unending supply of valorite hammers.

does it stand to reason that if someone runs a successful very large guild and successful forum. and had been playing the game years, would be privy to a lot of information about exploits scams and whatever. it would be very tempting just to push that info aside and not use it.

now as this guy is a uo personalty you cant say anything wrong about him
but my finger is pointing in your direction

i did not get an email from him directly, but got two one from ea about a request for a password and also a password reset message for a uo forum that this guy runs with about 30 mins of each other

If EA people asked our directors/owner, MAYBE some information could, maybe eventually transpire, for a greater good, eventually, but as principle our posters information is confidential.

I know this has probably been said a million times, and it's too late for the OP, but the best anti-hack you can do is have an email just for your UO account(s). Don't use it for anything else. If you are the only person that knows the email address, no one can use it to steal your accounts. Most ISP's give you 10-20 free email addys.

so far 3 people in the last three weeks have been attacked using the same method (that I am aware of)...and the proof is readily available. the person responsible was caught with their pants down...and this persons only defense has pretty much been *f**k you*.

I'll bring it out in the open. They are accusing me and my close r/l friend of hacking them. It is sad really because when they where hacked me and him both were out of state visiting other friends. They have no proof on anything other than one of our names was registered under a louisanna IP and the address that did the hacking was was also LA.

Okay, so on this forum, do other guilds also show pictures of running illegal 3rd party programs? Yes? How many other guilds? At least one from every guild, you say! My My, you've been hacked by every PvP guild on Atlantic! (that is according to the way you have deduced it, anyhow)

So again, ONE member of a VERY large guild, is either great at doing bods, or is a duper? So that means their forum hacked you? Again I fail to see the connection. Also how do you know that is his vendor? How about other guilds that have a member with tons of valorite hammers?? Did those guilds' forums hack you also? Or is only the guild you WANT to say hacked you??

Enless those guild leaders had morals and a conscience?? Are known to be supporters of taking down scripters and cheaters?? Again, all you are doing is making way off base assumptions. So, again, everyone who runs a successful guild and has played a long time hacked you. That is amazing, according to your entire post you have been hacked by about 8 different guilds (they all meet your criteria, why is it only ONE guild?)
