So i have lots of things to take with me and i want to get the most out of the token i can. Suggestions on ways to bring lots across shards would be helpful. also more to the point if i take a "NOT" bonded pack mule will it and its stuff be with me at destination?

Speculation is nice on some things but for this i ask someone who has done it in the past to answer me please.:scholar:

The answer is yes....Unbonded packies full of items will tranfer with you. Put your heavy and/or items you really wouldn't want to loose in the bank. Load yourself up as well as packies, be unmounted and in a safe log-out area (house or inn) with packies next to you, and begin process. There was a tread started either yesterday or the day before about xferring with packies. Some of the suggestions were to double check to make sure everthing in the moving crate when the gump comes up (should have crate for item in your backpack, items you were wearing, pets in stable, bankbox, and packies) if items are missing then cxl xfer process and start again. Someone also suggested that once at the destination, if your meeting someone or going to someones house, then don't unpack the packies from the moving crate until you get to where you want to be, otherwise you will be dragging them around everwhere.

ya, you'll have a choice when you arrive at your desitination shard to either unpack your whole moving crate or just parts of it (like your own backpack/clothing). you can leave your loaded packies inside the moving crate.

you can access your moving crate for up to a week (i think it's only a week) by clicking on yourself when you're somewhere safe and can unpack and then unload the packies. i used to think you had to unpack all the contents of the moving crate when you arrived (duh to me). one of the first times i xferred i unpacked my packie and tried to walk it through the umbra woods (double duh to me). my packie got killed by a vampire bat and i didn't realize that unbonded pets corpses go *poof* in a matter of minutes after they die, and i was already fully loaded and couldn't carry anything else and was left in umbra woods having a fit while my stuff disappeared.

you can bring up to 5 loaded packies with you, as well as a bank box full of things (as someone else mentioned it's recommended you put all your heavy stuff in your bank since there's no weight limit, as well as the few items you'd be devastated to lose - JUST in case) AND your backpack full of things :)

i've xferred shards many times and have never lost anything (asides from the packie incident i mentioned above). OH that's not true - make sure your char isn't holding a candle of love - i've lost 2 of those due to xferring. char was holding one when i left and it was totally gone when i landed on the new shard. sucked big time. the first time it happened i figured it was just me imagining things and i was dumb enough to try it again lol...

If you choose not to unpack everthing until your ready, then in order to access the moving crate all you do is click on you char just as you would to toggle a quest item or turn on/off auto insurance renewal, and there will be an optioin to access moving crate. I didn't know about that until I xferred a char back when they teleported your char to Jhelom. I did the xfer, logged into char and was expecting to see the gump to come up to unpack crates and instead I got the message about being teleported to a safe area. I had to look up how to access moving crate.
