lets fix uo economy a little! these are my ideas
1. POF can only be used to raise Durability 100 pts OR 10 shakes and then never again on same item.(still keeps it in demand)all things wear out!
2. Make repair deeds harder to make And I mean way harder say something like at 120 blacksmith you have a 10 or 20 % chance to make one ( they still keep chance to lose dura) the effect will be good on economy (hopefully be for more people to find in game repair)but still be able to do it on there own at a shop! but for much more gold!
3 even the playing field for vendors aka you dont have to shop at luna only to find things on the fly either in game or whatever maybe some kind of auction house or a all vendors search on your shard!

These are just 3 ideas its a start what do you all think (I know some of you don't want you uber weapon to go away but try to think of the whole game here! I have some of those my self but I want things to be constantly changing and new ! dont u?
I why do I think Its about to get hot lol

I disagree with any form of Auction house, however, a directory of all vendors that you could use to search vendors would be nice. Just something that lets you see the prices and locations of vendors. It would encourage competitive pricing and give merchants without a good house location a chance to compete (and probably pump some life into player communities that arn't charging an arm and a leg for goods).

that was exactly the point why would you not want that unless you had a luna house

1. Imbuing will test the viability of such a system.

2. I notice there aren't players waiting at stables to res pets. The vet model seems to be what you have in mind, but it doesn't happen in practice. I think that game has progressed beyond the point where there are many players who will feel fulfilled playing a blacksmith lurking at a forge.

3. There are some very good player-run auction houses out there - and I don't think players have ever fully explored the potential of networking together into guilds and associations (most of us don't really run a shop, we run a fleamarket of things we happen to have in surplus). I do think that tokens should have a global auction house - because that's where real $ to EA has touched the game and shouldn't be as dependent on player marketting skills.

I tend to be pretty conservative - my main-account characters are still using mostly the same equipment they were a year or two ago. If my equipment started decaying right now (pre-imbuing), I would likely put away all my artifacts and go down to fighting with spined leather suits (easiest to max out physical resist) - I value consistency more than variety in my character equipment. it would lower the power level of my characters, but not really change my place in the economy. I would probably shift to focus more on gold-harvesting since my main endgame would still be buying power scrolls, but I would have fewer subplots to follow without the dream of finding a better piece of equipment.

Again, it will interesting to see what effect imbuing has on the economy - at the moment, my intuition isn't giving me any good advice as to what to expect.

1.
This is true I for one have no idea whats gonna happen there just going on what I know now!
2. There are players that like to interact with you me for one! I love the act of repairing your items and you trusting me as your smith or tailor etc and I know you will compensate me on return of your goods you stiff me next time i take your goods I stiff you you dont come back its on rep and trust!
3. tokens I tend to agree but still way open to here opinions

this makes my point you still wearing same stuff I cant say it better your toon probably has not changed a lot in a while but some times just getting all the best things in the game and then I am done is not the best way to go!
not dissing this way of thinking or anything but if you always have to rethink and adapt I think it breathes life in the game for us all!
