Casca Schedule. Okay, for what?
What event?
Any details?
Outside of Lord Blackthorne's castle?
For what, to replace sir Robert G's ghost
(It is spelled 'Blackthorn'...
Perhaps details are limited in order to prevent mass visitation of this, undetailed, 'event'; but I haven't noticed an update on the UO login gump yet.
When here I was so happy that things were being posted there,
even though uo.com has publish 57 details & the additions
firstly jammed together as one
and secondly, dated as March 21, 2005...
and it is only available via looking into the news archive from the main uoherald page, and not via the 'latest update' tab under 'update center'...
Granted, I will try to visit Casca & perhaps throw apples since I don't have any tomatoes on hand, hehe.
But seriously, is anyone keeping track of apparently the only official UO portal, its website, these days?
How is this supposed to attract new players, even if we are currently the sole advertising Word Of Mouth Band [womb] for UO...)

- Joanne, my sincere apologies as I've read you've had a rough holiday. I hope for all the best on a personal level.
But, I just noticed Britain was misspelled at the bottom as well.
It just reminds me of how I would mark runes in the castle that would/may still default as saying Castle Britsish. And how the opening movie had/has mispelled Britannia. & how I reported those years ago (I think the runes at the castle have been corrected, but I'm not positive).
Just where is the immersion in any of that?

Perhaps he will - this sentence was at the bottom of the announcement:
"If your shard is not listed here please visit the Town Crier in Britian Trammel for the scheduled time."
Of course, the Town Crier is not known for being accurate but we can hope.
There is also the issue of not being able to find anyone in game or on the Lake Austin forum who has actually met EM Sarthus. We only had a shield as proof that they were supposed to exist and be visiting over the holidays and that is gone now. No decorations or bulletin board to leave messages - just the shield.

Just because he puts out the shield, none of you check for it, and he comes and DOES talk with the people there, doesn't mean he didn't show.
Three of us talked to him Thursday - two of them were there the WHOLE TIME he was going in and out (1 pm to 6 PM eastern, shield said 1-5), and I never saw ANYONE else bother stopping by from 4 to 6 other than the three of us already there.

When was the shield changed to say he would be there on that day at that time? It did not say that when I was there but I was not on Thursday. My recollection could be faulty but I don't recall any particular day or time mentioned on the shield when I did see it.
It is not because I did not bother to stop by - it was because I did not know when he would be there and also I was doing real life things at that time.
Wow - 5 hours. I am actually glad that at least someone else was there. Care to share anything that was discussed? Must have shared something in that length of time.
It is not as big a deal to me as you might think. I was just trying to play the game and be involved in the event. This is where I go for game information - Stratics. It seemed like a good place to ask questions.

I looked for him quite a bit. But 1-6pm EST is 10am-3pm PST, which is the time zone the shard is on. Probably a good chunk of folks looking for him were at work the entire time. Hopefully our events won't be like that.

Yeah, come to think of it, of the 3 of us that were there, two of us were from KY & WV respectively.
The EM, due to not getting to play our shard before assuming EM duties, needed a bit of an education on past events. I wasn't able to help much, other than the rune to Schloss Morte. We also pointed out some of the event leftovers that needed cleaned up or brought to closure, but I'd REALLY like to have some people more familiar with the Navarre events give him both sides of those.
